I have run 3 more .351's, a .353, but nothing lower. I belive I have hit a wall...

How many gears are you using? You shouldn't be using more than 3.

Just got home from work and on the first run in the 6 hours I haven't played GT4 and I was in perfect shift heaven.

10.306

A lil more and this car will break 10.2s... I don't think the cammy and the SVT are close anymore.

I only use gears 2-4, so it's gotta be the tranny. I'm just one mental hurdle from making it.... I can feel it. :banghead:

yep. You can do anything to your car as long as its a street legal mustang or camaro and you use sports tires.

Also, if you like this week perhaps you'd be willing to try the upcoming tournament?(Link in mine and kenny's sigs)

Just like darkwind said - you can do everything as long as you don't install racing tires, or use the Camaro race car which I believe is the only racing Camaro or Mustang.

I also encourage you to join the tournament! It'll be great fun

Edit - with some slight changes I now have a 10.322 - back in my rightful second place (as usual)

The closest I've gotten to running the .306 again was a .308. I can't really touch the .306 anymore. Best I ran in the camaro was a 10.486, and I really want to find out why I can't get that car faster! :banghead:

Ok, Just got the internet connected to my new place like 30 minutes ago, so IM BACK. Now I have to go finish putting a new rack in my car, but Hopefully I can try to get a few runs in later tonight and at least submit a time, Which I didn't get to do for last week....dammit. LOL

No, he doesn't have a GTP account, or even GT4 for that matter. He was at my house showing me the his new speaker system in his Lumina and he said he could beat my Mustangs time and ran the .277 on his first try. Back to the drag strip for me...

I must say that a 10.277 deserves a :bowdown:

nah, most you have to worry about around here is a bunch of ricers. It's the 'cudas, roadrunners, and a bright orange mustang(nice orange, not to painful on the eyes) you should be scared of. For some reason most the people that run at kil-kare(dragstrip/raceway) are based around dayton though...

I've just been to busy this last two weeks with my new place, and work, g/f etc. But I know I will be dedicating some time for the tourney, that's going to be exciting.

Ride Height: 180 / 99
Shock(Bound): 10 / 10
Shock(Rebound): 10 / 1
Camber: 0.0 / 0.0
Toe: -4 / 4 (Don't ask. I can't explain why it's faster...)
Stabilizers: 1 / 7

Transmission: Full Customize
Auto: 25
1st: 2.948
2nd: 1.930
3rd: 1.315
4th: 0.965
5th: 0.730
6th: 0.597
Final: 3.555

TCS: 7

Downforce: 25 / 30

Ballast: 200 @ 50.

Standard LSD, Racing clutch(triple), flywheel, and driveshaft.

For best times, shift around 7500 RPM. Launch in second gear full nitrous.

I can't believe that NA Stage 3 was faster than the supercharger. I figured I'd sacrifice a few top hp for more torque. Other than that and the toe, our settings are very similar.

Nice one, DW... Pure embodiment of pwnage.... Our settings were incredibly similay until I got to Bound/Rebound/Toe. Wow. :bowdown:
