I'm guessing you're not done for the week.

7.640

0-60 mph in 1.38 seconds.

The first run I did with my current settings I experienced that amazing sense of fear inherent with insane speed, as if I was really there catapulting this FTO to the finish line a 1/4 mile away.

It took 70 miles for me to get that run through extensive testing. All I'm saying is that it does not seem like a 4WD in some aspects.

The FTO was originally a FF car so it shouldn't seem like a 4wd in most aspects. The street cars handle like 4WD cars except when you brake and turn at the same time. My personal opinion is that they are great cars and it's a shame they never made it to the US.

Low 7's, then I had to go out and almost finish stripping one of my cars.

Good thing we have till saturday, it's a busy week for me.

8.267 in the FTO is my best so far...

Oh Yay. After 1/2 an hour or so of tuning I managed to drop my time to:

8.247

I'm going to be very interested in seeing the setup(s) of the winner this week, I've mucked around with everything and wrenched that tranny to pieces - what the heck are you doing to this car!?!?!?

BTW - Here's something to be jealous about...

Hey man that's not a bad time. I was behind you until I realized a few things. Play with your TCS (mine's on 7) and other things like the suspension. I barely did anything to my transmission.

Where was that pic taken?

In the infield at the Honda Indy 225 last weekend at PPIR ;) (that car ended up winning BTW)

I'll move my TCS back down to 7 (it's currently at 10) and I've mucked around with the suspension in all kinds of ways (stiff, loose, semi-stiff, semi-loose, front up, front down, back up, back down - ARGH!) ;)

That was one of your problems. You only want to set the TCS so you have minimal or no wheelspin(typically 6 or 7). Anything higher and the TCS actually slows you down a lot.

On a side note, I've learned how to drive without TCS and I must say it's the most annoying crap I've ever put up with. I learned on a Nissan 350Z Roadster with no driving aids. Good drifting car, I spent a lot of time sideways, even on straights :scared: .

Yeah, darkwind is correct. Typically with what I have found TCS is best around 6 or 7. If it is higher it does it too much, and strangely if it is lower it isn't as fast.

Learning to drive without aids is necesarry in my opinion.

I remember when I first started the game and doing the slalom with IB6 and 7. I remember it was easy to bronze the first one, but on the second one it was harder to control the car without ASM. Well tonight I just golded both, and I noticed almost no difference in the handling at all because I have learned how to handle cars without aids - through WRS and this.

Kenny, I need to ask for an extension till 12 am pacific time (Which I honestly beleive is fair).

I worked a 12 hour shift today, and the girlfriend is over, so it's not like she's into watchin me tune my FTO for an hour.

Hope that's ok. :)

I dunno what pacific time is but its 1:24AM right now for me and since kenny isnt on im sure he wont mind me saying you have untill 2AM my time.

It's 10:44, for me right now, I just think it's fair that everyone gets till midnight, their time, you know?

yeh but it would end at way diff times for everyone. Kenny would get an extra hour, you would get what? an extra 4-5 hours? I guess ill give you till 12 your time IF afterwards you get one more person to join the Tournament.
