Thanks for a highly successful Week 1, everybody - this afternoon I was flooded with PMs! :D

Well done to everyone, I saw some nice tight racing going on out there - that's the way it should be!

Just a reminder to everyone: Remember, when you PM your times to me, include both your Best Lap and Total Time please. Quite a few people forgot that.

I'm judging you on your best lap, so it's important to get them in!

Well, here are the results. I'll post the results in order of name, best lap then total time.

People whose times are pending didn't send in their best lap so once I get them I will change the results. :)

Now, on to Monaco! :D

Edit: Sough has just gotten his time in to me, which happens to be one helluva lot faster than mine, so he takes out Week 1 of the GT Racing League. Well done, mate!

Well, some close results there - I dint realise that it was fastest lap that counted and not the total time ?
Well done to you guys under a min I just couldnt get there !!!
 
Is that a typo on Bollocks time ?? shud it be 5.14 ???
Sorry B if it was a 5.04 but its jus sooo much quicker than everyone else ??? To be 9 seconds quicker over a 5 min race is some going !!
 
Nah it's not a typo - at least, that's what Bollocks sent me. Sough got a 5'01.xxx total time I think.

that is ridiculous !!! Storm, me n you got .13 how can sum1 be 12 seconds quicker - I was caning the F1 as fast as I cud, I cant begin to understand how I cud be 12 seconds quicker - Id need a couple of rockets strapped to the back of the car !!! lol !!!
 
jeez, i cant believe that you folks did it so quickly...

i must have done over 100 laps of that course in practice, just after the first tunnel and the corner immediately after there is a little hump that throws me sliding every time...

more practice required...and i hate the monaco track:( i'm scared..

Quite simple mate - if you got a 1'03 on the first lap (and it is possible - I got a 1'04 first lap on a botched attempt) then all you'd need to do would be to get one minute for two laps, then two 0'59ers.

Quite easy. :)

Just gotta learn how to navigate it - that couple of corners laughed at me quite a few times. :D

What I hate is when you get to the first tunnel-corner, you come in as hot as possible without going wide and then at the very end is a hump that sends you into the air and sliding towards the rocks! :mad:

Oh well, it's good fun. :D

I know what you mean TS - I think I went over that sideways thru the air on most of my runs !!!

Not so easy for me either - I got caught up in traffic on the last lap. :irked:
 
I know - damn cars, I laughed cos they are all quite quick cars but the mighty Poly ruled all !!!
A mate came round who doesnt have GT3 and cant really play tried the course and cud only manage 1min 20 secs !!
Made me feel like a big man !!!

I still think the results could be put into more of an order ?? Dunno wot everyone else thinks but we all go all out for the quickest times etc so I think there shud be something a bit more organised ??? 💡 ???
Not that Storm aint doin a bloooody good job though 👍
I just think we all deserve more for our efforts ??????

damn will have to beat sough and sandstorm in the race and fastest times

Sandstorm: what the hell happened in the other 3 laps? youre first lap was similar to mine as youre fastest lap also, so what happened?
 
...and no the 5:04 was not a typo, will have a replay up (for those that have an X-port) to view in a day or 2
 
I think it should be name first, total time, and then fastest lap

I agree that total time takes precedence over fastest lap.
 
i am quite proud of my result considering i only did 5 attempts lol
3rd fastest lap and 5th overall i think a 1.09xxx ;ap 1 botched it tho lol

never mind eh for my first go at f1 online i am happy with it roll on monaco!!
 
Sandstorm, do you mind giving us an update on the "pending" times, I know I already sent you my lap time.

There seems to be a bit of confusion considering the total time situation - a lot of people think that the total time should be listed first, then best lap. If I was to go by this theory (Name - TTL Time - Best Lap) would everyone have more of an idea what is going on? Because I sense a real confused body of people out there.

So I think I'll go by this theory for the next race. :)

I was gonna say that if you got a really good best time in one race session, and a really good total time in another session, then you could combine those as your lap/time combination. Doesn't make too much sense, does it?
 
Well it might be more handy for me but it makes it harder cos uve gotta get ur best lap AND total time in the one attempt - I think that makes it harder and more interesting (but makes me less likely to win :( !!!)
But I wudnt bother wiv that if I were u - Its good enough as it is 👍
