well I guess with the physics change and such it's gonna take a bit of time to see the tune comes. Maybe at the end of the week-end if we're lucky.

While I don't necessarily think a tune is needed for the HSV-010, I would wanna give it a go.

Problem is...while the Engine Tuning Stage 3 is very attractive because it gives so much power, I wanna keep the one I have right now free of any irreversible mods. And I'm not sure I wanna cash out 980k for another one to be honest...

Ide love to see someone tune it to get the most outta it. I run it at 503hp and 1150kg but only.messed with aero and lsd and trans so far. Might have to get another 1 for setups amf leave mine stock lol

I tried to start tuning the HSV-010. I gave it a shake down with the defaults. I then turned up the downforce and I actually didn't like it in the corners (this was at Fuji btw) and the laps slowed down. It occured to me how much I loved the balance of the default set up. I realized that the original problem I had with driving the car was contributed to the visablity. Those 2 roll bars on the windshield are a pain in the ass, not gonna lie. If you like the racing line the car is not for you and if you are on the left side of the road you won't be able to see where the road ends and the grass starts. Once you get use to or by the view the car drives great and I love how it corners. When the racing lime is off you'll find it's much more of a ball to drive. The default just agreed with me so much idk how to tune it better.

And I'm not sure I wanna cash out 980k for another one to be honest...

With the way the bonuses work now there are very few cars that can't be bought with 20 minutes worth of driving or less.

It's definitely a good one, lovely drive. Only tested it on Fuji so far though, don't know how it works on bumpy tracks.

Oh and my LSD was 7/12/5 and BB 6/5

my setup would also work on tracks like suzuka, fuji, spa etc etc.
nurburgring or deep forest or mountain trial I have to try if it works or not :D

my LSD is aggressive 14/35/28 :sly: brake is normal 5/5

Time was 1:35.9 on Fuji F (with chicane), Race Hard tyres, no aids except ABS1, power limited to 500hp (can't remove engine stages)

HSV very good car, good handling, my opinion is that it is same fast as gtr but needs to spend some time to tune it
stock setup very good but can be little faster if you spend some time on it

I've used a setup that I've used across all my NSX GT500 cars (I don't remember where I got it, so credits to whoever it was, it has served me really well) I find it's perfect for the way I drive my cars, but may well be an aquired taste for some. I use a DS3, and have yet to try it with a wheel, but given that it sticks like glue would expect similar results.

Apologies if the spring rates don't match up, but I'm not in front of the game right now, although sad as it may seem I know the details off the top of my head now! (Will amend anything that's wrong)

Racing tyres, works well with all compounds, just more throttle care required for the harder or wet compounds.

Full aerodynamics

Ride height - 0/0 (I've also tried full drop and works well too)
Spring rate - 18.9/17.8
Damper extension - 10/10
Damper compression - 9/9
Antiroll bars - 1/1

Camber - 2.0/3.0
Toe - -0.15/+0.35

Transmission - Set for around 225mph for most circuits, but vary for each accordingly.

LSD - 13/54/44
Brakes - 7/10

ABS - 1-4

No other aids necessary.

Smuttsy your tune looks good, except the spring rates are way too high IMO, for a bouncy track like the Ring. id go 13.9 / 12.9 personally

******** of rear camber too

Just ran it round the Nurburgring 24hr layout in just under 8mins, felt fine using my 'higher' settings. The only problem with it was my lack of experience with the track, meaning trips through the grass on some corner exits, but it wasn't even unsettled in the karussel or the 'lumpy' bits. Obviously it's down to personal taste and driving style, but this suits me well enough.

Are you using this tune on your 08' Nissan GT500's as well?

thanks for the tune, offline or online tested?

Are you using this tune on your 08' Nissan GT500's as well?

I've used it for lots of the race cars, not just the GT500 class cars. I personally find it works for most FR & MR race cars that I use a lot, both online and off. I have also used it for some road cars, obviously adjusting the spring rates, and have seen varying degrees of success there too.

Online Tune - Tested @ 490HP - Stock Transmission - Max Aero - RS Tires.

Tuned on Tokyo - 1:35.711 Hot lap

Ride Height: 3/0
Springs: 13.2/13.0
Dampers: 6/6
Dampers: 7/6
Anti Roll: 4/3
Camber: 1.5/1.0
Toe: -0.04/-0.08

LSD: 24/36/17

Brake Balance: 5/6

Give it a go, See if you like it. Post feedback.

Personally I still would like a bit more rotation - plus I need to clean up some corner transitions. Overall though I'm satisfied.
