No, unfortunately you can't. GT5 has some features they need in the game and some issues they need to work out. But we'll save my rants for another time.
And also, don't write in text speak.

Basically we have evened the cars out via 2 weight classes, but can't seem to get them both in, I know this worked before.
So how do ppl do weight penaltys then

Wouldn't you do it like this:

Two Weight Limits, 1500Kg & 1000Kg.

Set the room to 1500Kg.
Let the 1500Kg cars join
Set the room to 1000Kg
Let the 1000Kg cars join.

It would still let the 1500kg cars stay as they weigh more than 1000kg?

I haven't tried this, just speculating.
