Weird bug?

I'm running the Nurburgring 24H in B-Spec in 100% precipitation, I started out on rain tyres but when my bob pitted it went to hard tyres. I wasn't paying attention because I assumed it wouldn't be so stupid...now I have to wait and watch as it crawls through the track in 20 minutes or something :grumpy:. Is this a bug or is the game just being retarded?
 
Probably the latter. It should go onto Racing Rains, I don't know why it would go onto dry tires. I doubt it's a bug though.
 
This happens with a lot of bspec rain races.
Your bob wants to "follow the crowd" & get on whatever tires his other AI buddies are on. I don't know why.
And it doesn't always make much sense.

The only way to avoid this & be able to "set & forget" bspec bob on his way is to make sure he's in a car where he can win on sports soft tires.
That way he won't be switching between rain, slicks, & intermediates.
