My mate has assassins creed brotherhood and his psn account is corrupting the game. I can log into his ps3 with my psn and play assassins creed fine. But log onto his account and the game crashes. This affects no other game.

Has anyone got any ideas?

I suggest a system restore, maybe a patch has gone wrong on his account?

OR he could possibly be the victim of a bug in the game that hasn't been patched yet, therefore when he loads the game, it tries to load a corrupted or bugged file and doesn't allow the game to start?

I'm not sure, but BEFORE trying the system restore, try deleting the patch data by going to;
Game - Game Data Utility - Assassins Creed Brotherhood - Delete.

Then chuck the game in, it will tell you that you need to download a patch and then you're set.

But if that doesn't work, back up all his files on a Flash Drive (USB), system restore, copy the files back to the PS3 and then try.

I think I have solved the problem he recieved the game through a preorder and got the game the day before release and played it. It looks like obisoft servers have banned his psn from playing when he is logged in.

I would have thought it was PlayStation that did the banning. Maybe they've just blocked his PSN. He should try contacting them and sort it all out.

BUT, you said the game crashes, if he was banned, it wouldn't crash I don't think.
