At least The Brickyard 400 and Indycar at Laguna Seca will be on, those should easily top this race.

Well done Oscar, controlled, didn't put a foot wrong, kept the tyres alive and clearly had more in the tank if he needed it. Lando gets inside his own head clearly, needs to overcome these basic mistakes if he wants to take the title fight to Piastri properly.

Ultimately, another nail in the coffin for the whole "classic circuits are essential for F1" argument. Mildly entertaining in the damp, dreary in the dry. It's a beautiful circuit and has had some good races in history, but in the modern era, or at least in this generation of F1 car, it isn't good enough, and being historic doesn't save it. Once again, the widely critiqued Miami GP was a better GP than Imola, Suzuka and now Spa.

2026 regs really need to be something special with regards to enabling closer racing otherwise classic circuits will fall away even faster.

And so will my viewership. I watch less and less because of where this sport is going. Getting into sim racing and getting to explore the different eras of F1 has really shown me how far this sport has devolved. Especially recently. The size of these cars has ruined the racing at so many great tracks.

Wrong way down the pitlane after turn 1? What happens if someone comes in the pits in the right direction at the end of the final lap?
You can't. The finish line is at the start of the pit lane, so you'd immediately enter Parc Ferme rules.

Screwed over anyone who set the car up for the rain properly.
Then the FIA needs to make a rule that says "You can not do any changes to the car during red flags", they also need to change it so you can't change tires during red flags.
its unfair to those who changed tires few laps before only for those who didn't and are now in front to get a "Free" tire change, a pit lane start should be done if it is done and a started adjusted for Pit in/pit out/stop time.

Sky desperate in their Lando defence. Saying he would’ve had a chance without the errors, even though Oscar had his fastest laps at the end and was clearly holding back & in control.
Done at Spa due to 7km track length so which is a long time to wait when cars are doing 100km/h, so they just U turn and drive into pit exit.
Once the leader crosses the finish line, the race is over, so if you're 2 laps down, the second you cross that line even in the pits the race is over for you.
So no real point to bother going into the pits, just cross the line.

It was the typical modern "wet" race situation on this kind of oldschool/narrow circuit after the legal actions of Bianchis family. The FIA just can't risk anything anymore with the possibiity to be taken to court if something goes wrong in such conditions.
