Weird one way collision glitch?

So, I go into trade rooms very often, sometimes just to mess around, When I hit this person, it was weird, because when I did hit him, there was no feedback on the crash against my car. It's like I go through the other car just a little then the other car shoots across the map at the speed at which I hit it.
Anyone else had this happen to them?
Why does it happen. o.o

Someone bumped me in a game of fiatball (I was the ball ), they were moving at no more than 25mph in their Zonda R and I was launched at over 200 mph, 217 to be exact.

P. S. At 200+ mph, a stock fiat 500 is very unstable, I rolled it over at 150

I think its due to the connection either of you could of had a bad connection and thats causing a kind of lag

I tried my own, but it degenerated into a demolition derby room after about 5 minutes. The game never really started, people didnt split up into teams, didnt wait for the signal, i just got bashed around a lot.

I got hit by a carbon X2010 while driving the Blitz drift car, and after it hit me I was sent 3/4 the length of the Top Gear Test track backwards. I even floored it but nothing happened.
