This forum is for private Team use before and during the BC5 competition. It's set up so that only Team GTP members and GTP moderators/supermods/admins can see that it is here, and non-members cannot see, read, or search it.

It should be secure; however, be discreet and don't publicize its existence, please. There is a small possibility that former members could still see it, though I have tried to remove all the previous names from the permission list. If you see anything suspicious, please PM me about it and I will take care of any situation.

At any rate, use this for private discussion of Team business, and assume it is indeed private unless you have reason to suspect otherwise.

Good luck to all the drivers and alternates in Team GTP! GT4 is a new game and the Old World Order has been shaken up a little. Lets establish GT4 as a real force in GT4 OLR!

Haha i will be working on september hardly and also college, so i will be forced to drug myself or drink some, to stay wake up. =O

Geting home midnight and waking up 7 am, anyway i will race that!!!

Woot i can feel the adrenaline pumping already!
I think we have 3 serious contenders for first place in their race on this team with holl, 604boi, and veilside :bowdown: so i guess it's just up to the rest of us "grunts" to see if we can eke out a few points here and there :D

Seriously it's an honor, and I'm stoked! Ready to run the wheels off! (so to speak).

With holl, hOt, and Veil, we do have great top end speed. hehehe. But the rest us wouldn't be here without having a bit of talent, and the ability to compete. :)

Actually I've been doing a little lurking at some of the German db's for a few weeks and so far, I don't see why we wouldn't be competitive with 'em. 👍 But not without a fight that's for sure. :trouble:

How are you guys coming on your 11 round proposals? I'd like to get them by the end of July so we can vote in August.
 
Just droping in to say hi, In the process of getting the net setup better so if anybody needs me send a PM and i will get back to you. Until the net is setup i wont be online much.

I guess now i feel 100% adapted to DFP, so now im confident to use it in BC. :)

I hope now that i get to be faster with it.
 
I think time is up, i guess we didnt do well..... not a good start.

Did anyone make selections or proposals that were substantial enough to put forward to the BC?

You've got until 08 August. But please do everything in your power to get 11 proposals together.

Yeah this is such a valid question. Another good question would be WHO are our captains. I have a hard time believing any other board would be this quiet and so well unorganizied with the BC5 coming up so soon. From my point of view, we only have a few days max to get all the proposals in and still allow a couple days so we can vote on them. If nothing substantial happens in the coming days whoever is our leader should just pick his own favourite 11 proposals out of the ones we have submitted thus far. At least get the wheels in motion.

bit late their Curt, the proposals have already been submitted, check out the other thread around post 38 - 39 or so to see What CFM posted.
 
Humm just my opinion, i was talking to holl01 and we were thinking in, me racing a super car combo or one at nurburgring, and him of racing a rally. Would this be possible, of we to choose or to say in wich combos we could or want to race?
 
Just my opinion also, but obviously you(veil), holl01, hot, and probably Z (or small fryz)are the fastest, and it would probably be the best strategy for you guys to be able to choose what you want to run.

I know I'm not fast enough to compete for a P1, so I will be content with whatever race I am assigned by my captains or what's leftover. :) (No rally though PLEASE!!!!)

I've been waiting to vote because I want to see what races the top guys want, and will cast my vote the same. 👍

I think with a 4'44 round the ring its obvious what someone should be doing, and we do have a strong rally driver, then there's that fast boi who can run consistent lap times, for a multi lapper, which just leaves us arguing over who HAS to drive round Tsukuba wet.

I was thinking

Hotboi does multilapper the long one
Holl01 and Z do the 2 rallies
Veilsidebr does the nurb.
I do a 3 - 5 lapper and Alpine does another.
And Vexd, toffe, minorshunt and mr8 can do the hotlaps and other smaller races?

Its hard until we know the combos to do delegate each person a race.

I really dont want to say person x is better than y thefore x can do this and y can only do what x doesnt want to. But we need to look at each persons strenghts and weaknesses and put them to races that will maximise our teams point scoring abilites. A "slower" driver than say hotboi can be closer to hotboi over 1 lap compared to 20. I really dont want to discriminate drivers as for you guys to make the BC team you are all fast! 👍
 
There is great wisdom in all you post young Fryz,

But delegate and discriminate we must.

As you say, there are some better for jobs than others, and to choose the wrong driver for the wrong job is folly. (or a bad idea)

Wait and see what combos are left to choose from, we will.

Choose then, the drivers for each race, we can.

Only a race that is preffered by that driver, must he choose.

Unless there are only a few left, and we're stuck with what there is to choose from, like when you used to pick teams for "wallee ballee" at school.
