I am now in possesion of a mac.
Its a pretty old g3 powerbook ,233mhz, 128mb ram, Os9.2, But its suprisingly faster than my 600mhz 128mb mServ desktop i have.
And I Cant belive for how old it is, that photoshop 6.1 opens up in less than 15 seconds, on a 233mhz!.
But, alas i still am anti-mac at heart (until i can aquire an nice 0Sx86 Disk),
I must get linux (Ubuntu 5.10) installed on it.
Which leads me to a problem, the guy who used to own it is my graphic arts teacher, and likes to mod things which in this case he replaced to top of the laptop with the batman logo and painted EVERY key blacker than the notebook itself. Now i know absolutly nothing about macs, but i assume there is a way to boot to my Ubuntu cd.
But How?
On my Lappy i press f12 to bring up a boot menu, but that was on the bios boot screen.
Last time i checked, macs dont really have a boot screen like that.
So what keys do i press to boot a cd?
