Ok, women and gay men buy convertables.
Under that logic, then, the Maple should be a convertible.
Okay, Alright, I was probably shooting my mouth off with my "Classification." I must say that Women don't like cars that are supposedly marketed specifically to them. I need to find an example better than the '56 LaFemme, though, it was only available in a couple, femme colors, Pink and white, had flower-print upholstery, and co-ordinating purse, (With all the nessecities) umbrella, raincoat and umbrella. Nice, but utterly useless, since most women had these things already, in a color they liked, not Dodge's. Men wouldnt' go near the thing, despite a Red Ram Hemi: there's a difference between so-called "Girl's cars" and woman-marketed cars: Men will buy some versions. The New Beetle Turbo S, for example. or the Cavalier Z24. My parents actually had a Rabbit convertible, and then I came along and Dad traded it for a Golf II, for practicality and safety reasons. Had a stick, only 'cause that was cheaper. And Girls do think driving a "Boy's Car" is cool, or, at least, a good enough car to drive. That's kind of why you dont' see too many "Women-oriented" models: they're usually marketed with some other point.
On SUVs and Minivans: Ladies drive them mostly because the lady is also a Mother and has many children to haul around. And Men drive SUVs, too. and Minivans. (Usually because they have to on the latter.)
So, In my opinion, "the first car special for female in China" will end up not selling to "female in China." Then again, I'm not Chinese. The mindset might be different.
