Well since you ruled out the Forester, Im going to guess your going to rule out the WRX Wagon also. You guys are basically looking for a Minivan or SUV. So I guess sedans are out of the questions.

We've got the BMW X3, but the Highlander 4x4 sounds nice. I heard the Highlander also have a 3rd row seat?
 
So currently, our game is:

- 2005 Honda Odyssey (EX?) (Oh no, another Honda :scared: )
- 2004 or 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE (I hope this fits into our garage)
- 2004 or 2005 Toyota Highlander w/ 3rd row seating (Bit cramped on the inside?)
- 2004 or 2005 Acura MDX ( :) )
- 2004 or 2005 Infiniti FX35/FX45 (It looks nice! And we'll own the fastest SUV on the street.)
- 2004 or 2005 Nissan Quest ( :odd: styling)*
- 2005 Subaru Forester 2.5XT

That's actually happened to my Mom, in her '01, twice in one month. It's supposedly common on second-gen Odysseys. About the other stuff, IDK why it happened, that's unusual for a Honda.

The Subaru Forester 2.5XT is faster than the FX :D

I think the FX45 is a great buy! If you want a fast SUV go with the 45! The Acura MDX is nice too but like you said its a gas guzzler.

No Nissan Quest?

- 2004 or 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE (I hope this fits into our garage)
- 2004 or 2005 Toyota Highlander w/ 3rd row seating (Cramped?)
- 2004 or 2005 Acura MDX ( :) )

2004/5 Acura MDX would be the best choice, I've sat in a 03' model, man there awesome. Very well equipped on top of everything.

I thought the Subaru Forester was a wagon at first, but then I saw the Subaru commercial ("We have X-ray vision, blah blah blah..."). So it's a small SUV, but I don't think my Dad will like it.

Thanks for reminding me about the Quest.
 
No problem, my dad was looking for a minivan last year. We came so close to buying a 03 Odyssey, we got it for 25K even. They shook hands and all that. But they forgot to add the handling and destination fee (200 dollar), my dad got mad and said that they shook hands for 25K out of the door but they rasied it up to 25200, so my dad didnt take it. They lowered the price to 25100, but we still didn't take it. Two days later they called and say, fine 25K even, :lol: It was great, but we still didn't take it.

Instead he bought a used 01 Nissan Quest from my aunt. I disliked it. This was all before the New Nissan Quest was even out. I was really feeling the 04 Quest but it was not out at the time.

My dad basically ended up with 3 competitor.

Nissan Quest
Honda Odyssey
Toyota Sienna

But due to the cost of the Sienna we didn't get it. The Odyssey was a bargain at 25200 but my dad don't like the fact that they shook hands and they forgot the destination fee. So we didnt get that. The new Quest was not out yet so of course we couldnt get that, and it was also too expensive.

We ended up with a 01 Quest. It sucks!
 
We bought it from our Aunt and she was having money trouble so we pay alot more than its actually worthed.

We payed $18K! Thats Absurd!

There were numerous of thing wrong with the Quest. There were no CD and the window (rear) was broken, we couldnt open or close it.

For 18K we can get a better van but It wasnt my choice.
