http://www.big-boards.com/highlight/195/ According to that site

and...

http://www.big-boards.com/board/195/ Some nice stats

Maybe Jordan could give some info to that website as far as the description if anyone does look at that.

Also, I wonder what this site was ranked there before the release of GT4?

Interesting to that website...gaiaonline.com is the largest forum on the internet according to that website with 266,590,530 posts :scared: (Number 1 poster on that site has 108,218 posts, lets cheer punkrock or M5power to beat it! :scared: )

Second rank being facethejury.com with 111,328,720 posts (155,261,810 less than gaiaonline) and third rank being the IGNboards with 103,422,780)

Any thoughts?

I knew I wasn't that bad.

Do you guys realise we're behind a Ford Probe forum? Good god, the humanity.

We're 233rd for members - making us 999th for posts per member.

uh...for the people who really became active in the GTP forums post-GT4 such as myself...how is that to be interperted?

Well I guess your balanced out by guys like me who kind of avoid the whole GT4 area.

Heh,I tend to avoid the WHOLE Gran Turismo section

Phenominal. 426th is not too bad a number. :sly:

*read that again to believe it.* Nearly 254,000 posts?!?!??!?!

Surely that person would be banninated here, right?

He came back under a few different guises aswell.

Do we really want to be the largest forum. Imagine all the repeat threads and newbies.

That would be terrible. Look at oftopic.com. Absolutely deadful place. Spam, eggs, sausage, and spam.

kewl, lol i was checking out the rankings and number 1 for posts per member ratio was a christian network forums with 5685. 5685!!! they must have a lot to talk about :scared:

He was a moderator at Racing-Line.

I kid you not.

boombexus
Good gawn, NO!!! He was NEVER a mod here. I can't imagine him being a mod anywhere. :scared:

I must have mixed it up with that he ran an event there, the F1 series or what it was..

[edit] What happened in september 2004? Was it when the test forum got scrapped?

Sounds like Jared, StinkyChicken, to me.

PunkRock
September... GTP6 and the downtime that went with it, I think.
But there weren't negative posts with the downtime... GTP 6 was launched on June 6th, if I remember, and there were very very few posts in the second week of June on that graph...

But there weren't negative posts with the downtime...
The negative is just the fluctuation from the average (or the regression line).

The negative is just the fluctuation from the average (or the regression line).
If that is true, then that would mean that the average posts per week would be 93,000. I highly doubt that.

I dunno .. dammit, now you've confused me.
