I dunno .. dammit, now you've confused me.
The bar graph is posts per week. During that 2nd week of September, the test forum was deleted, so that was about -100,000 posts. We probably posted about 7000 times that week, so 7000-100,000 = -93,000 posts. The line in the background is total posts, that is absolute. Total posts decreased by 92,777 that week.

I knew I wasn't that bad.

Do you guys realise we're behind a Ford Probe forum? Good god, the humanity.

Think about it really though Fred - the lead poster on the Internet has 108,218. You're at 16,170, and I'm at 14,806. You have 14.9% of his total posts, and I have around 13.7%. But the really interesting part is that you've been a member here for nearly three and a half years, and I celebrated my three-year anniversary about one month ago (it was a quiet celebration and none of you were invited).

At the current rate, it would take you a little over 22 years (about 18yr 7mo remaining!) and me about 22.5 years (with about 19yr 5mo remaining) to achieve 108,218 posts and become the lead poster on the Internet - but that would also require him and everyone near him to completely stop posting. I can't even imagine 108,218 posts.

Posts count in every single forum on Gaiaonline. The is just a helluva lot of threads with a helluva lot of people posting in them constantly. Think the opposite of lurkers..

:nervous:

Holy Carp!!! The most users ever on Gaia Online at once is 32,499. This is the biggest message board that I belong to, BTW. I prefer smaller message boards that have more of community feel to them.

Actually I think GTP has somewhat of a perfect size, both in number of active posting members and different forums/subforums, I say that with excperience from a few bigger and more divided and also smaller forums.

The level of action is pretty good and you don't drown in floods of posts, you get recognized fairly fast here, also it's not that difficult to keep up familirising with new members. Plus that most users are very nice people here.

Same here.

I'm pretty easy to find. Just look for my NSX in sig.

I normally just moderate our guild and RP.
I get bored, and like you said, I prefer communities like GTP, UCP, and such. Not to big, not to small. Lots of unposting members, which help in fame, but also, its easy to tell who everyone is. You see their avatars, and bang, know who they are.

i use the ign boards and frankly they aren't as clean looking as gtp. Face the jury looks like a place where sexual preds hang out.
I know. Kinda wierd sometimes.

But I've gotten to talk to Tila Nguyen there. :D
But I liked seeing her in person better.

yeah and maybe there's a reason why facethejury has so many posts....

Well, it is the top poster account, maybe several people use this account and maybe he get's money for spamming ( advertising )...

Edit : Have a look at his posts... I watched 3 pages and 95% were only containing this single icon/smile and nothing else :

On this three pages of his posts, there were about 50 of these "worthy posts" and maybe 5 with letters... so no problem to get this number of posts....
