werid glitch on psp drift mode

while on psp drift mode on ice track the short one i forget name. after you get a consecutive credit above 1800000 the next lap it adds credits to max level of 9999999 but even if you go an extra lap it stays at the max when you quit you retain your score above 1800000, although in game it showed max credit. has anyone else had this happen or can you explain this.

Providing that he scores an average of 20,000 per lap, it would take 90 laps to get 1.8mil credits.
