Hi guys! Sorry this is short and sweet, but circumstances mean I have had to sort of throw this one together a little quicker than I would have liked.
I will get round to tittivating it up, maybe Tuesday.

Mode : ARCADE
Race type : SINGLE RACE
Location: WORLD CIRCUITS / INFINEON RACEWAY (STOCK CAR COURSE)
Car: USA / CHEVROLET / CAMARO LM RACE CAR ‘01

Initial Settings
Transmission : Your choice
Aids : NONE
Tyres : RM
A.I. : +10

Now go into the options screen, and adjust the settings in ARCADE to the following:

Number of Laps : 32
Tyre Wear : STRONG
Driving Aids : NONE
Penalty : SPEED LIMITER
Time Limit : NONE

Exit, and now go into the quick tune-up section, and change the settings to the following:

Power : +20% @ 711 Hp
Weight: -10% @ 1044 Kg
Top Speed : ANY
Driving Aids : NONE
Transmission : Your Choice
Tyre Type : RACING
Front Tyres : RM ONLY
Rear Tyres : RM ONLY

You will now be set up for the race, there is no qualifying to do, just the race!

DEADLINE :

Midnight GMT Sunday night, December the 16th

RULES:

You must use the settings laid out above at all times.
You must try to keep 2 wheels on the track at all times.
An occasional off is to be expected, but use your judgement and morals to decide if you have gained from it or not. If you have gained, or feel that you have taken an advantage from the off, then please bin the race and re-start.
A.I. contact is allowed, but NO penalties are allowed.
NO wall contact is allowed.
All podium times will be verified by the posting of either a replay or a photo of the screen showing your final time AFTER the deadline is past.
Any suspicious times will be investigated by either myself or where appropriate an NTSC user of my choice.
All decisions of the Administrator (me) are final, any cheating of any kind what so ever, will be dealt with in the appropriate manor.
You may discuss any splits or individual lap times, just not your final times.

TRACK SPECIFIC RULES:

The area outside of the rumble-strips and line at/between turns 5 and 6 is OUT OF BOUNDS

Times should be sent to myself (Tyre King) via PM by the above deadline, as marked by the GTPlanet PM system time stamp.
Replays and screen shots should be posted in this thread after that time has passed.

Hmmmmm .. Dels garage only has the '01 version .. is it ok to use it ? Or is the '03 a typo ?

Mine is an '01 as well.

AI are even more unpredictable than usual at this track. Between them & the close walls in several places...

Hey Marty I'll check mu Uber Save and if there's no '03 model then it doesn't exist and Neil made a typo for which he shall pay dearly Neil's gonna be in and out for a few days and asked my to answer whatever questions I could. I'll get back to you as soon as I walk my dog.

Sorry guys, it IS the '01 car. My note had a squiggly 1 that looked like a 3.

A flogging is not in order, maybe a light whipping! (though I might normally enjoy that! )

Well, for a start the '01 is now in purple, not red, so that's different!

And a light whipping is (in the right circumstances) pleasurable, flogging is just over the top!

For Del its the other way round .. i much prefer the sports car course than the stock car circuit .
Took the Camaro for a few warm-up laps late last night .. can't remember ever driving it before , but it's a great drive right now 👍

How was LED ZEPPLIN Neil ? .. Hope you enjoyed those front row tickets i sent you . Sending a tall blonde girl over for your whipping next week ; a little late but i guess you won't mind .

This track is 'Better' than the sports car version, in the same way that O'Neill is 'Better' than O'Neill' - Com'Try'ya!

I'm running this again to-night {after finishing a 1st stint and then mucking around with the speed settings ; ive found an extra .4 of a second a lap by stretching the gearing so it tops in 5th gear instead of dragging it into 6th}

Ditto with RL for you & family Neil ...

It is interesting.
I used all the gears,I think it was set 320 km/h,because in the technical part of the track it was much comfortable for me.
May I ask,what was your setting?

I only raced once (I mean with this car).
Anyway it was a good warm-up session for the SuperGT qualifying. 👍

Compared the number of mine posts to yours it's something like I have been awarded with an aluminium medal for my 34th place in a race...

Please delete my results for this week. After thoroughly reading the specs for the Zonda at Le Sarthe, I looked back at the specs for this race & as I feared... "Aids: NONE" I really can read.
