Hiya guys, can anybody explain to me how the wet wether condition settings works and if higher settings give you more rain or less rain and how do you get a variation of different weather in a race of around an hour long, any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Could you clarify your question a little sir? I've read it and re-read it and I'm happy to try to help but.... what exactly are you asking? online? practice?

Well the weather is dynamic so you can't really decide in what way it is going to change during the race. But you can set the weather changeability slider in the track options to the maximum which makes weather change more often. And you can start the race in the rain if you set the weather slider to 75% or 100% (I think). I hope this helps.

Yeah sure, weather change and also weather percentage. What I'm asking is what is the difference in these settings from 0 to 10. For example if I set weather change to 10 will the weather change more often?? And I don't even have a clue what weather percentage does.

I had a little play with this function.I assumed the slider increases and decreases the chance (or probability of rain) during the session. I cant be certain, but the slider didnt seem to adjust the visual intensity of the rain or the grip level of the track.

I find that no matter what settings you put it at its totally random anyway. Apart from race starting surface water. It certainly does seam difficult to work out what adjustment do what. The reason I ask is because we have a la sarthe change weather endurance coming up and we would like rain and dry sections in the race. Whereas last night it stayed 100% surface water for around 2 hours without changing once and that's longer than the race were going to have. We can arrange to make day and night to replicate 24hrs but the weather seams very difficult to work out. (and I appreciate that it's a bit random) but with
all those settings you would imagine that you could manipulate it a little bit to what you would like.

The slider will, as mentioned before, affect the chance of rain. It's completely randomly generated from what I can tell so having 0 will give no rain throughout the race and having 10 will mean a high probability of heavy rain, and often. Having 5 would seem to make it midway between lots of rain and little, heavy rain and light.

In addition the this, setting the water level percentage up a bit will make it so it's raining at the beginning of the race.
