I'll be join you next time @ Cote d'Azur (15/09/13).

Cool jammy be good to see you again hopefully next week I can do spa and Monte Carlo I will try and make both

Like I say Mick I know this game too much and know the cars whoever said the pp system can't be done must really know what there talking about .
Once again I like proving people wrong.
And there will be more closer and better races to come hope you guys had fun last night what were the results also sorry i could not make it yesterday Mick was too early in the morning for me and I had to leave for work as 9am and I would of need to get up at 4am at the latest so have about 3 to4 hours sleep on a work night not a good idea.

Mate don't worry about it, i was never expecting everyone to be able to get to both, especially not you aussies at that time on a Monday morning 👍

I set a low 3'50 and mike in the r8 managed a 49 without a tow in quali, not sure about the others. I would say the Viper was the quickest car there, but not able to keep the speed up over a stint like the R8. Results were me 1st, mike 2nd and glen 3rd.

It was everyone's most consistent race so far, with most of us only really making 1 maybe 2 mistakes throughout the race. I was disadvantaged a little bit by RS though, who put me in the gravel at both Mulsanne chicanes on the same lap  but was just him not judging the braking zone with a slipstream and he did wait for me to rejoin the track

I never expected that 3.49.9 in quali, especially without a tow!
I will be looking at the 2 chicanes and warning as necessary 👍

Yeah another good race.👍.managed a 3.50 once i got my fresh tyres on with a half tank of fuel and no drag.:)..just a couple of small mistakes but nothing major..a good solid run from mick..and a good comeback from caine...Unfortunate mick binned it on the last lap for caine to take the victory..definitely felt like a race!!

I can agree with your end statement there, may have only had 3 cars cross the line but to all be in 10 seconds (17 if I hadnt binned it) is still a very close race with no time to relax too much at any time :D

I currently have no keyboard for my PC so can't post results until the missus is back from town with a new one but they will be up as soon as I can 👍

THIS WEEKEND'S TESTING RESULTS

I am pleased to post the results from this weekend's testing sessions :D

Firstly we have the testing times as I know them from 6pm-Qualifying from Laguna Seca :)

And the race results 👍

I didn't record any times from Le Mans test session as there wasn't really any times set before Qualifying so we will go straight to the race results :)

All drivers were very well behaved this weekend to my knowledge and am only aware of 3 incidents and all at Le Mans :(

RACE INCIDENT NOTES

Dj: I know that you didn't mean to punt me into the barrier on lap 1 and you did wait for me but just a note to watch your braking when following a car closely.

RS: Again I know that your incidents into the chicanes with Caine wasn't done intentionally but please watch your braking especially when you have had such a big slip stream, I am aware that you must have been knackered and probably not at your best. You did the right thing in waiting and giving the place back but the same incident twice on both chicanes on the mulssane straight on the same lap would have lead to a penalty being applied if this was the main series as I couldn't allow people to get away with something so bad without penalty just because they allowed the car back past (1st on maybe but not both) :(

If you (or anyone) finds themselves in a situation of braking too late then the best way to avoid an incident would be to abandon the corner and stop braking and even get back on the power to attempt to get into the run off area before the other cars have got to the corner 👍

All in all a very good test and as always a big thanks to all that attended

Hi Mikey and Caine,

I´m very sorry for those incidents, I still was freaking tired from my 24h race, so could have been because of that... Anyways, I will definitely watch out for the braking zones :)
Hope that I can go your pace on the next testing races! ;)

I know that you knew they were your fault and you did say sorry straight away and give the place back 👍
I wasn't getting on to you about it, it was just that what kind of steward and series host would I be if I didn't say something :D
I'm sure it wont take you long to get back on pace 👍 you must have been dead on Sunday so that probably would have been your biggest problem both with pace and reaction time 👍

I'll be opening a test lounge at spa later today in about 2 or 3 hours if anybody is online feel free to join me.

I am now looking forward for GT6 release and my 1st GT series on it should be good :D
They have some of the proper GT race cars in there so will most likely be using them :D

Definitely.

I got my 2 favorites there already too :D R8 and GT-R :D

As soon as GT6 is out I will be getting straight to work getting a series started :D

you will need a master tester to work them out it may take a while being a new game to work the cars out I may not be at my full potential if i'm using my new wheel in gt6 cause i'm getting one soon but the gt6 feels much easyer to control the cars I will use racing in the rain and in the dark to enhance my development on the wheel so I have the ability to test the cars in gt6 accurtey.

ANOTHER VOTE TIME

It was asked to me at Le Mans this week if I will be having a night stint on the change time tracks? So now I will be asking the drivers participating their thoughts 👍

Would only apply to Le Mans and Nurburgring I believe (could also apply to Spa but not sure, will look when I get a chance)

There is a couple of ways we could use this feature so here are the vote options:

1: No Don't want night at all.

2: Yes, have a night stint about an hour long mid race (start and finish daytime).

3: Yes, Start early evening and end at night.

I will put a vote counter in the current information post on the OP

My vote would be #2 as I have run a few races using this way and enjoy it 👍

We will work all that out when it comes to it mate but I would hope that all the GT3 cars would run at the FIA GT regulations so should already be balanced to the official FIA spec. But having said that this is PD we talking about and logic like that is sometimes lost on them

Yeah true trust me these cars are in the same class but I know they will be very um off balance

How about a rain option mick cause some of those tracks have change weather too would make the race more realistic what you could do is google the weather report for every race day for that day and what ever the weather says its going to be like that day we set it for the weather condition to match that day.

Change weather was going to be used anyway and that is a very good idea on how to chose the settings 👍 but I'm not sure on how to use the room settings to make it accurate to the weather report?

I sort of know how to use the weather settings ill give you a run down when you get online.
