And quick note I am not actually confirming car choice's yet until they are spec'd so makes changing your mind easier if you think there is a better choice once specs are confirmed 👍

Although as you did say a car you will get 1st refusal on a Ford GT 👍

I probably could race earlier, but I can't guarantee that every week. I'm sure I can work around the suggested times if need-be. :)

OK we will see how we go most are OK with that time so far 👍

Also probably wont race every week, probably be once every 2-3 weeks, again depending on peoples availability 👍

Need to confirm with all,
This talk of 5pm saturdays,
Is this refering to race start or room open?
Need to know as qualifying room will need to be open at least 1 hour before race start.
This is to allow 15 min for people to get there and spec checks, 30min for qualifying
Then we will need 15 min to get public room open and everyone there and spec checked again (to make sure as everyone has changed lobbies so had a chance to change their car)

TESTING SHOWING ASTON MARTIN NEEDS TO GO

There will be further confirmation of this later in the week and we are looking at other options to replace it with.

The problem is that the rest of the cars need to be brought down too far below it to make it competitive :(

The rest of the cars should balance very well to each other.

More details will follow after further testing 👍​

TEAM UPDATE

IWINNUMBER1 and RS__96__oO have confirmed they will be teaming up for this opening GT1 season to form WIN Racing (convenient name :lol:) .

MANUFACTURER UPDATE

Aston Martin confirmed to be pulling out of GT1 :(

We are however waiting confirmation of a replacement manufacturer:

Dodge
Viper ACR

Should be confirmed by the end of the day.​

Mikey, I´ll be trying to get some more drivers for this, I´m gonna drive some online races tomorrow evening. I think I should get the interest of someone for sure ;)

I would rather have the Aston in but as I say, before being balanced it was so far away from everything else we would have to peg everything else back to it and reduce the overall pace too much to make it work. So it's just no a viable choice to have :(
 
Even at full spec the Aston vantage is slow for a car with over 700hp and just over 600pp on top of that it does not turn good and it heavy and I'm not making all the other cars 50 or 60% on the power limiter cause it throws the peck rpm out on the rest of the cars this is the reason we bined it

I looked before and somebody said the pp system can't be worked out the funny thing is most dont really know how long this process takes to get right lol not a few days not a week sometimes I've beaten the pp system 6 times before it can be done otherwise I would waste my time it will work just give me some time and the cars will be updated as soon as possible

As I say take all the time you need 👍 races can't start until TOCA has finished at the end of next month.

I would like to get some provisional specs up to keep/increase interest and then pre season testing will tell us more. Also once you have some specs then we can get another driver or 2 to help with the fuel/tire wear aspect :)

We are doing everything we can to ensure we have 9 GT cars that are as well balanced as we can and pre season testing should help us out a lot with this and will be asking for all drivers to try to attend as many of them as they can, although as I'm in TOCA and would like to get testing going before TOCA has finished and get racing soon after so days/times of testing will be a little all over the place so could be difficult, we shall see :)
