How Poigniant. Can you Guess what movie it's from??

"Man will always be man.

There is no new man.

...But there’s always something to envy

A smile…a friendship.

...In this world… even a soviet one.
There will always be rich and poor.

Rich in gifts.
Poor in gifts.

Rich in love.
Poor in love."

A dying man's words. But who is neither rich nor poor? Mother Theresa probably just as much as Summer Smith (a beautiful girl I once knew who married well) will undoubtedly have both wealth and true friendship 'galore'...

If noone gets it by tomorrow sometime, I'll probably give hints.

(by the way, just in case, only in quotes are the lines...)

Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, and multiply it by the probable rate of failure, B, then multiply the result by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X... If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.

Are there a lot of these kinds of accidents?

Oh, you wouldn't believe.

Which... car company do you work for?

A major one!

End Quote. Pretty easy i reckon!

Awww Babes, what u doing here then?

Thought u didn't like GT3?

Hmmm, your fave film of all time.... Leon!

Make sure my dinners on!

Awww, how cute! Another couple at GTP. Slip, did you get a referral for her sign-up?

Welcome to GTP bird2rock!

Here's a short one while I'm at it:

Man: "You like watching him."

Woman: "Don't be rediculous."

Man: "We're going to kill him, you understand that?"

I'll have another one soon...

I don't know if you guys know this but TWA Flight 800 crashed under this principle. TWA realised that their planes had one defect that would cause one crash every 25 years, and they decided that it would be easier to pay off the victims' families when (and if) the plane crashed than fix every one of their planes (assumingly the planes with the defect would become obsolete before there would be two crashes).

Unfortunately for TWA this issue was brought to light (after 800 crashed, sadly) and TWA went out of business because of it.

In essence, TWA knew there would be an avoidable plane crash but they did nothing. That's called putting a price on human life.

Now, slip2rock: What movie is it from? :D

Dead Presidents.

Way off, BTW in Dead Presidents the robbers aren't robbing a bank and they aren't wearing masks, they are wering face paint, and it's black and white, how is that like a president?

right answer: Point Break...someone already said it

yeah guys, it is Point Break; another of my favourite films ;)

ok; here's another:- "mother is the name of god, from the
mouths of children"
and.....
"It can't rain all the time!"

Carey? that spelling is most likely wrong.

anyway i'm thinking of the movie where there is the way over controlling mom, then carey burns all the people in the school because they dumped pigs blood? on her??
