What all new cars do you want to see in GT7?

For a racing category that i remember it being heavily used in GT Sport's online events (not sure about GT7), i find it a bit odd how the newest, non-fictional, GT3 or GTE racecar to be included in the "Gr.3" class is the 2019 Audi R8 LMS Evo.

The rest of the lineup seems to consist of mostly cars from 2011-2016 that have long since been replaced by newer entries (e.g. Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari and McLaren) or have completely exited the competition (Dodge Viper and Ford GT). Let's not get started on the fantasy cars though i do understand the need for brand representation.

A slight update would be nice.

BMW M4 GT3


McLaren 720 GT3


Ferrari 488 GT3 (I heard a new Ferrari GT3 would be introduced soon tho)


Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3


An updated Nissan GTR GT3


An Acura or Honda NSX GT3 (the one in the game is fictional for some reason)


Porsche 911 GT3 R


Corvette C8.R (GTE/IMSA)


Additionally, i wouldn't mind something like the apr Prius from Super GT since we already have that GT300 BRZ.

I would bet on peugeot 9x8, but still would love to drive toyota mk3 , that car was a beast with downforce

963 is not hyperclass ,,, so gr010 wouldn't have a competitor....lmhd are different breed

Well not really. LMDH and LMH will compete for outright honours in the WEC so the 963 will be a rival to the GR010 and 9X8.

lmhD have 5 chassis to chose..almost all get same downforce levels

My understanding is that they are two different cars but very similar and when bop is applied they will be equal. As of 2023 both LMH and LMdH will compete in the same class in the WEC series.

Hmmm I think the S7.R and MC12 would be more appropriate for GR.2, which is fine as we really need more of those cars.

We do need more (preferably modern) GR.3 cars though and a good portion of that list is plausible.
 
Dont really car about brands but just some modern 20/21 & 22 cars. Majority of cars are pre 2018.
Also current day Gr4, Gr3, Gr2 & Gr1 cars.

I used to think the MC12 GT1 and S7R should go into Gr.2 also but thinking about it you're right, the DBR9 GT1 is a direct competitor to those cars and is considerably slower than the F1 GTR Longtail and CLK-LM even more so both ingame and IRL.

You mean the road-going RXC Turbo. I was also hoping it would come to GT7 one day, and was what I immediately thought first when I heard that Radical was confirmed for the game. This thing will slaughter the competition in World Touring Car 700 events.

My guess would be the Porsche 963, given that Porsche's relationship with Polyphony is pretty strong indeed.
 
Previous post deleted (my bad). I'll stick with E36 M3 (Euro) and add Renault Megane R.S. 280, Hyundai i30N, Audi RS4 (B7/B8/B9), Audi RS6 (C8) and Alpina B3/B4.

A couple of non-GT Porsches would also be nice (e.g. 997/991/992 Carrera / Turbo).
