What all new cars do you want to see in GT7?

Just bought a Hot Wheels version. If PD include any obscure fox-body Mustang, this would be my choice. V8 swap, Ford GT V6 swap, Focus RS swap. Easy.

Ford Mustang (3rd Gen) SVO 1984

I've seen quite a few Foxbody Mustang threads within this section of GTPlanet including one that did mention the SVO Mustang, but that thread title also talked about the other Fox Mustang variations and you can't exactly do that due to the "one car per suggestion" rule and technically suggesting...

Please no more VGTs. No more GTs.

We need more road cars. That's what made Gran Turismo so fun and popular in the old days. People got to drive their own cars or cars they were reasonably able to save for and purchase in the future.

In short they were attainable and tangibly within in reach.

Crazy late reply, but I reinstalled PC2. Had to relive the Porsche.
We have the Chaparral. If we got the Porsche and the return of the Toyota 7, that would be enough for me. Considering PD don’t give us full grids of race series.

I agree with this

  • The Mercedes AMG VGT racing series needs a Gr3 variant, would only need slight adjustments to BoP to fit.
  • The BMW VGT needs a Gr3 variant, really boring to look at BMW's lineup with 2 M6's and an awful M3, only cool one is the Z4.
  • The Aston Martin VGT could theoretically work as a Gr3 car downtuned and drivetrain changed to MR tomconform with Gr3 regs.
  • The Lexus VGT should absolutely have a Gr2 variant.
  • The Ferrari VGT should have a Gr1 variant (uses the same engine (if tuned) as the 499P).
  • The Lamborghini VGT should have a Gr1 variant with Gr1 levels of downforce (right now it has Gr3 levels of downforce).
  • The MINI clubman VGT should have a GrB variant.
  • The Daihatsu copen RJ VGT maaaaybe could do with a Gr4 variant for fun?.

I really wonder if PD actually has some more "special" vehicles..
we got escudo, vw id r, valkyrie, mp 4/4 ? ...wonder if we will get some more in 2024..and what's with loebs peugeot..I consider that as special

This thread, as the name somewhat suggests, is for commenting on what cars that have never been in a GT game before you'd like to see in GT7.

With that in mind, please state actual cars you'd like to see; not brands, not racing categories, not cars you don't want to see. Actual cars, please.

Bear in mind also that we have a Suggestions forum in which many of these cars will also have been suggested, where you can "Like" the relevant posts to upvote them. There is... some evidence that PD uses this forum (after all, its origins are linked to a PD request...) to give enhanced priority to well-liked vehicles, so it may be of benefit to do so.


Edit: I'm not sure why we're still getting posts with cars from previous GT games (and in some cases deliberately) when this is very clearly, repeatedly stated as a thread for all-new cars which have never been in a GT game before. Per my previous post:

There are a few cars with pretty significant historical and/or motorsports significance that are missing:

S2 Toyota Supra (There may have been one in GT2, its hard for me to recall)
First Generation Porsche Boxster (perennially excluded, which is sad considering how significant they are for Porsche)
Lancia 037 (seems like this one could be on the way, eventually)
Saab 99
Lancia Fulvia HF

To me that looks like a RS200.
Regionally different name like Suzuki Escudo/Suzuki Vitara?

Though then I would be surprised that Ford used Sierra for different cars in different regions.

if my memory history is right about cars..rs200 road car..was based on rally costum car called rs200...which was basicly heavy modified sierra...
so technicly every rs200 is sierra...
same thing happen to seat cupra...which is seat leon..
that's why I wrote ford sierra..should have wrote coswort

maybe some older American ( 50+,not 30 years old guys who know cars from videogames) can confirm this..

It was also a Ford of Europe project, developed and constructed entirely in the UK.

rb 17 will have some crazy specs if rumors are real...
most interesting is weight at about 900 kilos...I am sure aero will crazy...even Adrian said last year..car will be alot faster than AMR pro
