First off, if this topic exists in another thread, can a mod reply with a link and then lock this thread.

Now, I must begin by saying I love this game. I have played GT5 more over the last few days than I spent playing all my other racing games in the weeks leading up to it.

But, there are some things I feel really need to be addressed, and soon.

I am not talking about things like "Make all 1,000 cars premium and have 500 tracks" or other such huge additions. Rather than additions we would like, I want to hear what problems you have encountered that you believe can be fixed with a downloaded version update.

I'll start with a few that I have:

1.) Native support for the best steering wheel on the market (G25/G27). Inexcusable that this wasn't in the release.

2.) Sorting/Filtering options in the Used Car lot. The selections of "Dealer Acquisition and Cost" are too limiting. When I am looking for a specific year, make, country for some challenge, I shouldn't have to scroll through the entire lot each time.

3.) A "generic" cockpit view for the standard cars. I understand that to model accurate dashes for all the premium cars was a long process. But rather than giving us not option for the standard cars, I would rather just have a generic cockpit in order to use that view.

4.) The ability to show/hide all the various HUD elements on the screen when you are driving. Right now, the only thing you can hide is the map. This is supposed to be a driving simulator. I don't know about you, but my car doesn't have a HUD like an F-18. I don't care about lap/position/opponents/etc. I just want to drive with a clear view.

This damn Used Car system. Grinding for money and XP is one thing, but now I'm grinding to get a single damn car to appear.

All of these 'complaints/whinges/moans' are captured in any number of posts (with the possible exception of the sorting/filtering comment)... if you bothered looking before posting.

Inefficient menus - needs more shortcuts to different sections. Eg. When you're about to enter a race, you go to the garage to select your car, there should be an option to go straight to tuning and then drop you out back at the race screen.

Exactly, they are strewn all over the place. It would help to have one central place to see what people would like fixed. Who knows, maybe PD will see it and know what we are looking for.

Er I don't think there's anything wrong with having it all in one place. Maybe Kaz is watching and listening?

the paint system

i like the feature of unlocking manufactor colors, but atleast give us a color palet to choose our own colors

no changeble brakes, what where they thinking

no money/exp in multiplayer

about the standard cars, i never feel like buying or driving and standard car unless i have to (japanes classics event, etc) and the roofcam makes it even worse, feels like your driving a jeep

I'm only annoyed at the lack of being able to turn off the ghost car in license tests so far.

The wheel could sure use a way to turn down the amount you need to turn it to lock positions too. It's ridiculous having to turn it as far as you do in faster cars to lock it. I have to switch off the the regular controller for some races as it's faster to turn with the digital controller. Tricky, but it's actually easier in some cases.

I think the AI is the most glaring problem for me. I can work around the weird menus and such, but the AI spoils the best part of the game, the racing.

no replay director

no dyno

used car system

no b-spec fast forwarding

No it doesn't help at all.

All in means is a massive replication of data, the thread will rapidly turn into yet another mess of posts with no single focus and members bitching and moaning at each other.

Locked.
