What are the differences between Brands Hatch 1985 and Brands Hatch 2013?

In the game you mean? As far as I can see all they changed was Graham Hill Bend to be as it was then, not as tight, and Dingle Dell was also reprofiled. Except for that, they're the same from what I could see.

Graham Hill Bend is much tighter on the 2013 version and has different curbs, as do many other corners. Westfield Bend is different to the 2013 version, it's quite a bit tighter with less runoff, the Derek Minter straight is also slightly longer as a result. Sheene Curve is Dingle Dell Corner in the 85 version, Dingle Dell is the slight kink in the straight between it and Westfield Bend. Stirlings is also tighter on the 1985 version, but not by a huge amount, mainly due to the different position of the straight between it and Dingle Dell Corner compared to the straight between it and Sheene Curve on the 2013 layout. I didn't check the pitlane, but the entrance and exit shouldn't have chicanes on the 1985 version either.

The trackside objects should be different, but PD only changed the track surface. Have a look at this to see what it should be like.

FuzziOn is correct with his comments - I will just add that the old circuit was 2.61 miles, but the current version of the track is 2.47 (from memory). The changes were made to increase run off.

I was a bit disappointed that the pedestrian bridge before the Druids Hairpin didn't have a different look - I'm sure it didn't say Palmer - I'm pretty sure it said Dunlop years ago.

The track itself is, I think, a better, more flowing layout in its older configuration so I think it will be popular.

It's 2.433 miles according to their website for the current track. Only measurement for the old one is the same as you mentioned.

A lot of old layouts of tracks were better. Then they started slowing the drivers down with chicanes, widening corners so more cars would fit without bumping or crashing...luckily we can't die in GT6 so bring on the old layouts I say

I'd argue that the GP circuit now is more flowing and quicker than it was back in 1985. The corners are more open with flatter curbing and probably a little wider. The Indy Circuit was quicker in 1985, but I prefer the remodelled Graham Hill Bend as it's a good passing opportunity, especially if you can stick it around the outside of Druids.
