I know this is ot but could someone explain how race cars are able to have backfire? shouldnt a race car's backfire be considered a misfire?

There have been many discussions about backfires before, a search should come up with an answer for your answer and no the race cars arn't misfiring, unless we are talking about misfire systems to keep turbochargers spooled up.

I'm a sucker for Lamborghinis. I saw one parked last night as I got out of my car and I was on the phone and yelled out "Holy ****!" when the person on the phone was in mid-sentence.
 
My sister's boyfriend has one. Think he's going to put some stuff in it to give it 310 to the wheels.
