Well, I guess I don't need to answer the question b/c you guys already know my plans!

I don't know what my real plans are. My mom said the two of us should get drunk together.. lol. We'll see.

Just having a little party with some friends. If you're prepared to risk falling out of the upstairs balcony on to the rather pointy front fence you'll have a good view of the Sydney Harbour fireworks (either that or risk getting run over standing on the street in front).

Major attraction this year - can my partner stay up past 10.30pm?

It will of course be 2002 earlier for me than for most (are there any kiwis here?). The chances of me getting on the net and saying Happy New Year are of course zero, as there is a case of Carlsberg awaiting drinking...

I'm going with the wife and a couple mates to a great bar called Frankenstein's in Edinburgh, where they plan to celebrate the arrival of New Year in each time zone, which just sounds like an excuse for an orgy of drinking every hour. Just got to work out which of the free buses is going my way!

We rent DVDs from NetFlix, and they let you keep em for a month, and then you just have to sent them back in the mail.

We got, Dolphins, Deep Sea Adventure, and Alaska. So we will be floating by the time we're done watching them.

My dad also has a ton of concerts that we can watch.

My only tradition is to scratch my butt to bring in the new year. It's kind of a "this is how much I care" thing. Some friends and I started it a while back, supposedly we've all be doing it where ever we are these days. I don't see those guys much anymore ... hope they're still scratching their asses (:

I was going to say "as little as possible", but at the last minute three different groups of my friends invited me to their 'parties'. More like gatherings, but whatever. So now I must make a showing at each to keep everyone satisfied with their annual dosage of LoudMusic-isms.
