Well?

Ive been creating a BTCC series of custom tracks all with round numbers. There will be 8 diffrent tracks 300bhp limit and 1000kg weight min any car with racing liverie i was thinking?

will be 16 laps looking forward to it may also buy a car as a prize for end of championship all rounds will be one after each other.

What do you think? will it work? ive been hard tuning my RM golf mk4 for the championship

Huh? What's BTTC? I don't play online much. I'm not as good as I want to be and I'm sorta waiting for the next update.

I've been practicing though. I've been creating a lot of tracks, too, making the road width -5 to practice precision/timing. And I leave the map off. The map is a crutch. Like training wheels. I think it's best when you learn how to judge a new track's turns without the map.

BTCC is British Touring Car Championship cars are all around 300bhp in the championship real wheel to wheel racing. Full damage will also be on as anyone who has watched this type of racing knows contact is a dead cert. 16 laps will give anyone a chance with damage to pit and get back out just like the real championship. Type in BTCC in youtube if you would like to watch some videos.

Full damage is not gonna make great wheel to wheel racing!

I have been Auto Grinding about 15-20Mil a day for the last week and buying every new car and used car worth having buying all bolt ons (all exhausts, intakes, turbos, tires ect.)

5 days ago I had about 190 cars.... Today I have over 500

Reviewing tunes, adding chapters to my GT5 fanfic, buying random NCD cars and aimlessly running on the SSR7.

Levelled up to 40, mostly by grinding Ring 4h A spec, buying cars, mostly by grinding Dream Car B spec (900k + it recycles the UCD) and generally trying to get all my golds - still 19 licences to go, :^(

Pretty much levelling up with grinding on A-Spec Indy 500. Buying most importand or rare cars from UCD and tune the most of my cars...

Alright il be the one that just says it.

Masterbait.

Oh and I discovered my new love. The 458 italia <3 so sexy so fine if you could only catch mine. That was cheesy but seriously I love that car.

There was some sort of error in my system that forced the default user to log out when it restarted. Can't log back in because it happens through PSN...

Edit: The actual error is: "You tried to load another user's save data." After this the game says i would need to overwrite with a new safe file...

I haven't had much time of late to play the game, with the current issues with PSN I don't think I would be doing much apart from the WRS.

Looking on the bright side, it looks like PSN will be back very soon as the game devs now have access to the network.

Fingers crossed we will be online this weekend :)

I've been getting some quality seat time with iRacing. I haven't booted that up since getting GT5. I don't know if it's part of the new iRacing build, or if my driving has gotten better because of GT5, but I set some new personal best lap times on a few tracks last night.

thats a good idea as you can see < im from Aus and the V8 supercars are a religion in my household and I actually compete in some lower class touring car race across NSW its heaps of fun and yes rubbing is racing

Well, I hit level 40 before PSN went down....but lately, I have not played much at all. Once PSN resumes, I will start again. Just haven't had the urge lately....

Finding the quickest production car around the 510pp range. I have a fun list of 20 to try out online when the network gets going again!

How do you manage 15-20m per day? Which track/car combo? By "Auto Grinding" , I suppose you mean B-spec?

I use the "Like the Wind" race, which seems to offer one of the best time/reliability/reward ratios, but it generates max 300k per hr, so thats perhaps 3m per day if I can catch it every 15mins for 10hrs straight!

Plse let me know.

Thanks

I didn't want to play the hell out of GT5 so I went and bought NFS Shift2. I played it for about 20 mins. And found a new respect and appreciation for GT5. There is no comparison between the two. Where GT5 claims it self to be a driving simulator, It truly is. NFS Shift2 is just a game.

Good to know Moondaddy. I considered getting it myself.

I have been challenging myself with the FGT championship instead. Trying to win each race on racing hard tires with only 900 hp.

He's making that much a day by rubber band grinding! Use the search, type in auto grinding and you'll find everything you need to know.

Building up bank account, buying cars, doing substantial experimentation with tuning setups.

I've found that the American Championship works well for quick buildup of funds. I run the 5-lap event at Indy - you can run 5 laps in a bit under 4 minutes, purse is 97.6K. 5 sessions take slightly less than 20 minutes. That's 488K, with the added bonus of generation of 30 new choices in the Used Car Dealership.

Mainly, though, I've been working on the Gold Standard trophy. Almost there - I have all 60 license golds; lack 2 events on the Sebastian Loeb rally challenge, and of course the Red Bull challenge. That one will take some time - the X1 is ridiculous, especially on the courses with multiple tight hairpin turns. :scared:
