What are you doing in GT5 with online being down?

Nothing. At first I grinded the DCC and B spec'd the endurance races but now I only use my ps3 for Netflix. I can't play GT5 anymore without online, too boring. I also have no interest in playing other games at the moment.
 
i did alot of things that not long ago i really didnt think i would ever accomplish in GT5.

i could make a long brag list. well it would look like i was anyways but really i seriously didnt ever think i had the potential to get them done...not even close.

ill just mention one of the many.

i had 4 gold before the outage. i started doing seasonal TT to learn from really good drivers how to drive better in GT5 because i sucked to be honest.

i didnt think i could gold all the licensces. ever. in previous GT games 3 and 4 i was a hair from 100% only licensces stopped me.

i did get all gold in GT5 and on alot of them for fun i went as low a time as i possibly could. might have spent an extra hour after getting gold just trying to get it perfect.

idk those licensce tests and the super skid force turned on kinda bummed me out. i really didnt learn much getting all golds...except you can do some crazy fun stuff with super skid force turned on! hahaha

actually i used them after i realised "hey you just cant drive this insane in GT5 for real" to increase my cornering problem solving skills.

still some of them i have no idea why theres a test for it. just a huge time waster trying to get very very very lucky. brake test wet comes to mind.

brake within a millisecond. im so awesome at it now thanks PD! :)

no better than before at braking just joking.

How do you manage 15-20m per day? Which track/car combo? By "Auto Grinding" , I suppose you mean B-spec?

I use the "Like the Wind" race, which seems to offer one of the best time/reliability/reward ratios, but it generates max 300k per hr, so thats perhaps 3m per day if I can catch it every 15mins for 10hrs straight!

Rubber band grinding...$24,000,000 per day. Can buy a lot of cars with $24 Mill...lol.
 
Getting used to the new wheel! What a difference! So far Ive got Bronze in the campervan race(top gear test track) and gold in all the Kart races!
 
I was building up my garage. Then my kiddo deleted my game save. So, know I starting from square one. Oh joy.

It's basically doing something over and over and over and over and over again to get lots of something. It tends to be a necessity in some games. Like this one! :D

I've been taking photos and tuning cars up most recently. During this time, I haven't actually made any progress in A-Spec. Was thinking about doing the Nurburgring 4h today but couldn't find a tune for the Gran Turismo Skyline I was going to use.
 
Making different tunes of my favourite premiums, stock, sports tune, racing tune. Then off to photomode plus endless runs on the nurburgring.
 
ive been trying to gold my lisence tests from some reason ive found the S test the easiest and i cant even do the braking in a straight line test! :dunce: oh and tunning random cars! i cant believe how fast the ACR is :o!
 
Yep, B-Spec grinding racks up lots of cash, but it's fun to test out different cars/setups while earning 1.464 mil/hr and earning prize car tickets, too! :sly:

You platted (without cheats)? If so major congrats. Have you completed the A-Spec endos? I know you don't HAVE to to plat (doing the B-Spec gives you the trophy), but I'm going to if for no other reason than the extra level 24 ticket and personal pride.

Other than that Eiger challenge, what was the hardest thing you had to do?

Playing other games and my OLD Xbox with the broken controllers which barely work.:grumpy:

Trying to gold the S-2 Licence. (It's impossible with only the DS3 and a cheap wheel):dunce:

Playing Gran Turismo 2 more. (Best GT ever):sly:

And now that it's up, I'll do more Seasonal events and grind, grind, GRIND!:D
