Question: Do you say "desperate" as two syllables then an extended "and" or do you extend the "desperate" and add a short "and" before the "ravenous"?

Strange, I know, but I can't figure it out. :grumpy:

I think it's the first one. After listening to it a few times it seems that "desperate" and "and" are seperate and that "desperate" is not extended.
