What are you looking forward to most in 2008?

The new year is right around the corner which typically means changes. Whether this is in the public lights or your own personal life. So what are you looking forward to most? Graduating school? Getting a new car? Moving out of your parent's home? Seeing what celebrity fails next? George Bush leaving office?

For me I really hope to be done with my undergraduate degree by the end of 2008, it's sort of a long shot but I think I might be able to do it as long as the classes I need are offered. I'm also hoping I can pay the Mini Cooper off before the year is out, but that doesn't really seem likely until I get a higher paying job.

I'm also looking forward to see what technological gizmos hit the market throughout the year.
 
I'm hoping to be starting a new job in April and also to buy/own a house for the first time in my life. I'm also looking forward to GT5, GTA4 and George Bush getting the boot.
 
Hopefully *fingers crossed* doing well in my GCSE retakes in June, anything other than that is trivial on my own personal side. Outside of my 'world'? Forest getting promoted hopefully.
 
I'll be done with my undergraduate study by mid June the last day of exams in that month will be the day I'm waiting for :)
 
Damn, I was just about to start a new years resolution thread.....but I thought it was too early

I don't know really, maybe i'm just looking forward to survive another year with my horribly terrible life. Having the occasional birthday and buying a few things, going for holidays as well as taking the most important exam of my life (SPM) and well, the rest I just decide what to do with it. Other than that, I maybe looking forward to get a driving license by the end of next year as well as hoping I don't qualify for National Service :D. Also I might add, i'm looking forward to watch Formula 1 on tv in March... :lol:

Well thats about it I think, not a good one at all...... :indiff:
 
hope to buy the first own house, win some money with the lottery, buy my beloved 1971Chevy Corvette C3 and... the peace in the world :):)
 
I would really like to make some major progress on Heathers 67 Mustang. We didnt do anything at all on it this year because we were painting her moms 73 Mustang. We had to disassemble everything from her moms car, do all the bodywork including sheet metal replacement, then we painted everything inside and out. It consumed a month straight of our summer and burnt us out.
2008 is hopefully going to be a good year for Heathers 67 Mustang. :sly:
 
I have a lot of stuff to look forward to:

My Wedding, My badass new job, and College. (100% paid for by my badass new job) 2008 looks good so far... I would talk about GWB, but Kylehnat is right..
 
Hopefully a payrise in April, a trip to Holland in May (still to confirm), holiday with friends to Greece in July and then a final holiday to Vegas in August.

Turning 18, woo legal drinking.
There's also a pay rise in May (woo, 18...)
Oh and hopefully we'll discover lots of oil in france, or germany, and petrol prices will drop. That's what the palm reader said anyway.

👍 We have a little Fox Terrier (the real Cracker) - who tends to be my dog. We also have a yellow Lab/retriever who leans more towards being my wife's. We too originally aimed to to have just the one dog.
 
I love dogs, can't wait to sell my apartment and buy a house with a nice big garden.
