Except that thread has been a great place for people to find out about new bands or songs they don't know, so it's not pointless. I've found a number of bands I never would have heard except through that thread, and introduced others to some bands they may never have known, too.

But it's not like somebody is going to come on here and say "Ooooh, an Abercrombie shirt, what are they like? I'll have to try one..."
