Yes indeed. Loved that car; won it from the 10 million credits seasonals. Stupid me sold it for 6 million to get the Ford GT40 race car quicker!!! Stupid, stupid, stupid! :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Well with B-spec grinding it's easy to collect credits these days, about 1.8 mill per hour with a topspeed tune for the Pagani Huayra @ SSXR if you leave Bob on his own. I'm on a mission to collect every premium car in the game which I don't have yet, I'm currently going through the entire catalog from old to new and I'm currently at 1991 which means I got all those expensive classic '60 cars already in the garage. :) But I'm first going for the authentic dealership versions so no stealth models, chrome lines or Gran Turismo tuned versions yet. First the real deal. :) Afterwards the VGT's and then the copies and other variants.

'06 Alfa 147 TI 2.0: Great for starting off in and its a great car for getting to know the tracks

Mazda 787B: what's not to be said about it's all around grip and
performance and then to top it off theres the noise the thing makes. Simply love this car.

Ford GT40 MkIV; Now ive not owned this car that long but its such a great car and gives the more modern cars a run for there money but there is a big price to pay.

'97 Castrol Toyota Supra GT500: if you want something different from the modern GT500 cars this is the car to have. Quick, great handling and easy to master.

'10 Lexus LFA Nurburgring Pack: For supercar racing this for me is the pick of the crop. never lost a race in sotck or tuned form. great feel and grips and grips. even in stock form its a rocket.

Mazda RX7 Touring car: Its the total package for none LMP or Group C racing events and its pretty darn good for drifting.

Hope that helps =)

Nice list, gotta give that Alpha a try soon then. :) Fully agree on the 787B. The GT40 Mark IV I got recently but only gave it a quick run yet, but I seemed to like the XJ13 and the 330 P4 more (which are all in the same price category). But it's like choosing between 3 irresistible girls. :)

Also I haven't seen any rally car being mentioned yet, which ones are most fun there? Or the best ones to do seasonal rally TTs or races. I really like rally in GT6 but I have no clue about rally cars and how they compare.

The Gallardo is the only favorite I have. I'm not a Lamborghini nut by any stretch of the imagination, but it's enough of a handful and isn't burdened by the neutering implemented in version 1.09 that "fixed" cars that are difficult to drive.

I have 4 Gallardos in my garage. I've got a couple different Superleggera Replica tunes, a GT3 Replica tune and then one stock for the days when I'd like to be civilized. :sly: There is something about the Gallardo that I rarely experience in other cars, when you catch a four wheel drift at just the right speed on CM or CS tires, I swear it feels like you're really in the car. It has loads and loads of "I'm going to thrill you" along with a teeny bit of "I'm also going to kill you..." I just have so much fun in those Lamborghinis.

Try the Ferrari 365 GTB4! Great handling car with nice sound, did lot's of 500PP seasonals with it stock.
The Dino 246 GT is the tamer Stratos, they share the same engine.
You should definitely try the GTO '84, great looks and sounds, exciting drive!

The Renault Sport Clio V6 24V is also a great premium car, really tame for a MR, sublime on Nordschleife!

I fully agree on that 365 GTB4! It was in fact the only car in stock form (with stock tires) which allowed me to finish the previous seasonal event at Spa. It's one of the uglier Ferrari's IMO but such great handling and speed!

The Dino I already know, I like it a lot! Reminds me a little about the Alpine A110S but that's mainly the suspension feeling I guess. The Stratos... hmmmph let's not go down there. :) The GTO '84 is nice indeed, loved it for that autumn ring reverse seasonal. :)

I retract my original picks as the alpine vgt is my new favorite!
I could drive that thing all day.

The 2007 BMW 135i Coupe is my favorite. Probably because I own one (in a way) in real life and use it as my daily driver.
My real life daily driver is a 1-Series, but instead of a 2007 BMW 135i Coupe, I own and drive a 2009 BMW 128i Coupe.

1- Ford Mark IV Race Car '67
2- Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '09
3- Ferrari F430 '06
4- KTM X-Bow Street
5- BMW Z4 GT3 '11

Suzuki Cappuccino '95
Seriously? I bought one, several months ago, to see what all the hype was about. I find the car grossly underpowered for circuit racing. I took it on Brand Hatch, the Indy circuit. Your foot is to the floor pretty much the entire lap. Sure, you've still got to manage perfect lines to get he best lap times, but I just didn't find enjoyment with the car. Frankly, I'm shocked that you do. With the hundreds and hundreds of hours you've spent testing GT6 cars, to put that in your Top 3 absolutely shocks me! :dunce:

Oh it's not in my top 3, but most of the cars I would recommend have already been mentioned lol

It's the only premium kei car besides the Daihatsu Copen and Mazda AZ-1, and it's faster than both of those.

Ruf RGT, before the 1.09 update.
Honda NSX-R NA2, before the 1.09 update.
Ferrari 458 Italia, before the 1.09 update.
Lamborghini Aventador, before the 1.09 update.
Ford RS200, before the 1.09 update.
Toyota MR2 G-Limited, before the 1.09 update.

The physics change and the camber issues on stock suspension settings. Pre-1.09, everything was perfect. The physics feel waaaaaay better compared to GT5. This is my opinion, but because of the physics and feedback changes, GT6 physics have gotten WORSE compared to GT5.

Half of those aren't premium cars.

My favourite premium cars to drive on stock settings are the Ferrari 330 P4, Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe and Mercedes Benz C63.

Apologies for mentioning a non-premium car, but everyone should try the Toyota 7 at least once, I have a love hate relationship with this car - on the original race hard tyres as befits a Group 7, unlimited Sports Car that was famous for killing its drivers, it is always on the border between control and out of control and therefore it is equal parts satisfying and frustrating!

I love the stock R8 5.2 FSI. Slap on CM's and take it around Sierra drifting every turn, it's truly a dream.

But the 7 never raced...

But the 7 never raced...

The version of the Toyota 7 in the game has turbochargers and that project was cancelled after two test drivers were killed. The fact that it didn't race doesn't make it any less fun to drive or race in GT6.

Previous versions of the Toyota 7 (without turbos) raced in the Japanese GP which at the time was for Group 7 Sports Cars. It raced against the Porsche 917 and Lola T70, but was completely outperformed by the Nissan R382 6 litre V12 in 1969 hence the turbo project in 1970.

I just didn't find enjoyment with the car.

Try it on a twisty track like Streets of Willow -- Big Fun! Maybe i'm personally biased -- i really learned trail braking and 'riding the oversteer' with this car there, in a seasonal TT long ago. Delicious Cappuchino...

Riding the oversteer? What's that?

Riding the oversteer? What's that?

I would say @Mike458 got it quite well, it's my words for entering the corner a little too fast, trail braking into the corner and using the light oversteer for you -- steering a little less than usual and use the throttle for steering/balancing. It's hard to describe, but you can practice that really good with a slow car on CH or CM -- because the gap between spinning/massive oversteer and going wide/understeer is bigger and the speeds are slow to give you time to react and make corrections. :)
