What are your favorite TV & Movie moments?

Why, just the best TV moment of all time!

My all time favorite movie moment was a scene from Jurassic Park, where the T-rex finally reveals itself and breaks the electric cables of its enclosure, and then after its first few steps into freedom between the tour vehicles it lets out what would become the most feirce and recognizeable roars in Hollywood history...

Favorite moment in television is was when that guy threw his shoes at bush lolz

Christmas movie, no way in hell I'm turning on the audio on that this year.:p

Still ain't clicking on it.

Hmm... Is it Tree Trunks exploding in Adventure Time, or is it Shinji finding himself on a big blue ball in Neon Genesis Evangelion? Is it Bicycle Repair Man arriving in Monty Python's Flying Circus, or the entire episode with the germans in Fawlty Towers? Or could it possibly be La La La La La La La La Love making the world go round in The Powerpuff Girls? Hmm...

I'm going to go with this.

Still ain't clicking on it.

It's only a 3-second video.

I have several:

Aria: the Origination (3rd season of the Aria series) - one of the last episodes
When Alice Carrol has matured and improved over the 3 years of practice as an Undine, when she was taking her test to become promoted. Her examiner, Athena-both a close friend and senior, asked her to treat her as a regular customer like a trial run. Unknowing to Alice, this was the actual exam Athena was going to test her on.

Immediately, Alice offers her hand to hop on the boat. While she does this, she has an incredible smile. Why it's so amazing is because Alice used to be anti-social, was shy and spoke really softly, both traits not being ideal for being a guide tour. Just seeing how she has improved leaves me feeling good.

Following that moment, Alice's promotion was set up so beautifully. I knew it was going to happen as it was hinted at a few times throughout the episode. The relaxing music leading, the dialogue, intimate conversation, all that happiness that has been building up like a kettle is released and floods your senses with joy. Such a promotion was such a happy scene I couldn't help but cry. That episode ended on a high note.

Kids on the Slope - episode 7 end
The medley improvision by Kaoru and Sentarou. The medley itself was composed by Yoko Kanno and it took parts of My Favourite Things, Someday My Prince Will Come, as well as Moanin' and blends it together. The former two were blended seemlessly, and the execution of the piece was made even more wonderful when put into the context of two high school kids who played it together without any practice beforehand. It's an improv- they made it up on the spot.

Note @1:10, the pianist pauses abruptly, and the drummer followed that up. I know it's fiction, but the idea that someone who unexpectedly joined in to not lose you at that one part is just incredible. The episode ends on a high note leaving you at awe while exiting the episode with the track below right after the applause when they run out of school wild and free:

Code Geass: R2 end
The final result finished with a bang. Everyone wins, but it's not 100% happy.

and finally...
The Dark Knight: The Joker - just about every time he was on screen
Heath Ledger's acting was so believable for a crazy psycho. I love the subtleties he made of his character and appearance. His face makeup gets progressive more messier, his little twitches and random spikes in the pitch of his voice did not seem forced, and his the variance in the tone of his lines were ever so dynamic.

Does a trailer count as a movie moment?

Single greatest moment of any tv/movie ever.

Ever.

No special cgi, just the pure awesomeness of a F-14s and 80's rock.

Kill la Kill - Nui Harime's reveal. Also Game of Thrones, every scene with Tyrion...

Absolute favourite on TV yet has to be Mercy of the Living from the Walking Dead pilot episode.

This just aired on the weekend, but the (almost) final scene in episdoe 4 of True Detecitve.......holy 🤬 that was awesome. a 6 minute single camera tracking shot, felt like I was playing a mission in Grand Theft Auto! I am always confused as to what they give out Emmy's for-a single episode or a season- but if it is based on a single episode, then this last episode should win for pretty much every category-from acting, directing, cinematography, music & writing- it was that good.

The final scenes of each of the first 3 episodes I thought where brilliant, couldn't get any better in terms of cliff hangers, but then that last episode happened and blew the previous 3 episode endings out of the water by a country mile! This is not a show where you need to see the cooleset scene from the best episode to get into it, start with episode 1 and you will be hooked by the end of it and begging for more.

Matthew Mcconaghey & Woodey Harrelston star as murder detectives on the trail of a serial killer in 1995. The show picks up when 2 detectives are investigating a similar crime 17 years later in 2012 and call in the old detectives to interview them about their case. Probably the best show I have seen on TV for a long time.

Episode 2 had one of the hottest naked women I have seen on TV in a long time, Alexandra Diddario or something like that.

Matt & Woody knock this one out of the park, Especially Matt. And for all of you are fans of "The Wire"- the actor who played Brother Mouzone (Michael Potts)- is one of the new detectives who interviews the old ones.

If you don't have HBO- get it, now, however much it costs, you will feel like you got your money's worth just from True Detecive-and it's only 8 episodes! When this thing wraps up, I could see myself sitting in a theatre for 8 hours watching the whole thing from start to finish, it feels more like a movie than a TV show. I seriouslly don't know how they can top it next season-which apparently Matt & Woody will not be staring in, each season is suppose to have a new cast.

Stop reading this and start watching True Detective, NOW! you can thank me later.

(^ Especially around 3 minutes)

I counted 1 word in this last clip - which is 6 solid minutes of awesome storytelling.

The "Punch Trilogy" in ABC's "Castle".

What starts out as a fairly standard piece of character backstory quickly blows out into a massive conspiracy in the second-season episode "Sucker Punch", and quickly escalates in the third-season episodes "Knockdown" and "Knock Out" to become the series' over-arching narrative. The story has since been continued throughout the fourth and fifth seasons, but these three set it up brilliantly, with a mind-blowing revelation in "Knock Out" that changes everything.

The episode where Kitt gets destroyed in Knight Rider.

Vanishing Point (1971) in the end where Kowalski just smiles because he believes he will make it through the dozers just because he sees a little opening between the bulldozers, gave me a meaning how hard life can be, just keep believing that we can make it through.

anyway, for the guys who have seen the movie. Is this kowalski's head ?

it's around 1 hour 37 minutes mark.

So it's movies now too he?

Well my favorite movie moment is the end of Rosemary's Baby. The weight of her walking towards te crib while allowing to be taken into the group..... Shivers als over, every single time.
