What can you do with custom tracks?

Can you do anything offline with them where you can earn credits? Or just free drive? My PS3 had a hard drive failure and I lost all my games. So it wont be worth reinstalling GT6 if I cant use the track creator for real single player content. Can you make a custom career with custom tracks or anything like that?
 
It's a course maker, not an event maker. So no you can't.

But you can always use the tracks in arcade mode, if you don't mind not earning credits.

I made a drift circuit to practise my drift set-ups and techniques. Just fun for arcade and messing around really.
