So, what car did you guys use in gran turismo rally (Advanced) lvl 20.

I am lvl 23 at the moment, I can get 10 seconds ahead on some and 15 seconds behind on others.

I have tried using the C4 (paid 850k) and the Lancia Delta rally car. Lancia has faster top end, but is pretty slippery on the tarmac course, and in some area's I have to slow down pretty far, further than I should, C4, doesn't seem to have alot of umph on the tarmac course, maybe I'm doin something wrong, I've golded 42 licenses at the moment, so I'm not terrible, been playing GT since the beginning, any advice on what you used and how the times looked would be great! thanks!

If anyone has a rally car they want to lend me I can lend them a car of equal value till I finish.

I used my Subaru WRC '08 car to win it.

One thing, remember to tune your car for each different stage, AND CHANGE your tires for the wet stages.... i didnt do that the first run through and wondered why i was 15 seconds behind LOL

I used the same setup for both off-road stages and it worked wonders. This was the stock set-up on the C4. For Tarmac, I adjusted the toe-in.

C4 rally car did it for me no bother. I did screw up a few attempts but as long as you go through the stages without spinning and getting barrier collision penalties you should have no problem either.

Watch which ones have a more high speed sections compared to low speeds, and adjust accordingly. And for the wet ones, lower your anti roll bars a bit and raise ride height a tad. Changing for each rally accordingly worked wonders for me :)

I used the Citroen C4, which i got from the Loeb challenges, put on a turbo and enhance the engine and oil change.
whereas I saw someone post to change to wet tires, I did NOT do that and still blew away the competition. On snow its very easy, on tarmac, use soft racing tires and break early, still easy and on sand it was hardest but I still had 1 minute advantage before car2, just make sure you break very soon, and do not get penalties!!
Also: put OFF ESP, but leave ON slip recovery. This helps for all stages. Put the gear to 260 km/h max.
I thought I was going to have a hard time beating it, but merely was too easy if you break early, especially on sand drift with nose of car to the apex.
I was like 3 min in front in snow, 2 min in tarmac and 1 min in sand.

Something which I have noticed which will help with these races is, it says that you are limited to 345BHP but, if you use the power limiter and set it to that in order to gain admission to the race, you can set it back to the original BHP once you are in the event. Helped me big time :)

One thing I noticed on these were if I didn't wait for the other cars to finish the course and I pressed ok, it never added the full time difference I had gained. So I passed all 3 cars on some of the longer stages which you'd think was at least 30 seconds up, but it added around 6 seconds onto my time.

I used the Impreza 99 Rally Car though in response to the original question.

If it's the one where your on Tarmac, then I used, and I'm admitting my noobishness here, a Tuned Ford GT. :D

I use a Subaru WRC O8, okay on the tarmac stages but I'm still 2-6 seconds off the pace. Maybe I just suck.

EVO super rally car, its hands down the best rally car in gt5, quite rare in the ucd too.
