the nsx type r would be a fun car to use for the series, use like stage 2 na or something im not sure exactly what the power would be then but its a nice car

Thanks UB57 for the welcome and info, I just didn't want to upgrade the HP, and have it steer like a skyline hehe

i used castrol's nsx. pretty good handling and great speed. i was thinking about zonda, since it has... 10 or 20 more hp than nsx, but handling isn't so good. :P

Sounds like fun truenodrifter! 👍 I haven't driven a "Road" NSX for Ages. Will have to give it a shot as it would be great beating the other "Exotics" w/NSX if possible!

@ MINI Addict: Yep the Clio Racer handles Max HP well, of course we're NOT talking 1000+ HP either!!! ...UB57 :D

I really hope PD includes the recent Mark II Clio in GT4, since it will handle much better out of the box.

After I set up my Clios again, in game #2, I will have to attempt this series again, since I have left this race, until then.
Well, one of my wishes for GT4 were answered - we get the Mark II Clio.

I just ran this series for my second game. It was considerably easier this time than my first attempt, so it seems my driving has improved a fair bit. While I did all of the races more than once to get each win, at least I didn't have to do each one a few dozen times. I started cold and got Trial Mountain in 3, then Midfield in two (one other time the wheel crashed the game, so I didn't count it) and I got what I thought before was the hardest race, Laguna Seca, in two, with a huge margin because this time the GT40 pitted. I almost got Midfield in one, but I lost my concentration and blew the first 14th lapper.

At some future point, after finishing this game, I'll attempt to do it even better, but right now I'm just over 90%! Woohoo! This great series is not forgotten.

Cheers,

MasterGT

I used the 6-speed street NSX (not the 5-speed), and it was quite a challenge, but fun.

I used the Raybrig NSX... it handles really good and i won easily... thats what you should do it in...

Maybe you didn't read the title of this thread, but the main idea is to find a race that actually challenges the player. Easy wins don't count; winning by the skin on your teeth does.

Is it wrong to abuse the f1's ?
Only if the police catch you doing it in public.
