What Car has a high top speed and high acceleration besides the (Terrible) Veyron?

Hello, I want to buy a premium car that has a high top speed and good acceleration when completely modded. I do not want any 'Vettes so don't say it. I could care less about handling.

So what's wrong with the Veyron? Do you just want something different or do you not like it much?

I love mine. With soft racing tyres and a decent tuning setup it drives very nicely. I get 270mph on the Le Mans track.
 
Yeah Viper ACR will hit 250mph pretty easy, and it drives like an absolute champ with minimal tuning.

If you want something more fun grab the Shelby Cobra, it'll only do about 230mph but it's such a blast.
 
I just bought the GT and fully modded it. Its probably my fastest car right now other than the (like you said) terrible veyron. Its really fun to drive also, a real challenge to keep under control, but not too hard.
 
Murcielago SV I have taken up to 250mph+

Other cars I like to top out are the McLaren F1 and the Viper ACR. Both were stated above...
 
908, if you have "Some" spending money. It'll do a million MPH if you up the turbo on it. ok, not a million, but still.

👍 I love this car in GT5. I didn't much so in the previous games but cockpit in this car is so much fun. I love drifting this car on Nurburgring.
 
I'd go with the Red Bull X1. I was watching a video on gtplanet and it showed the X1 going around 225mph on the first corner apex and reached a pretty good speed of 350mph. Awesome video! AWESOME!
 
TVR speed 12 is pretty quick but hard to get moving (allot of wheelspin and what feels like hesitation to change gears)
