I would like to drive around the nurburgring and get an idea of what the P4/5C is like. What can be tuned to be most similar to the P4/5C? It got an 8:38 in qualifying on the VLN 6 hour course which I think is the same as the 24 hour course. It started life as a ferrari 430 gt2 and now has lots of downforce so would a scud be closest?

Yes a 430 Scud would be the closest thing to it. However it is a pretty bespoke and unique car, so I'm not sure how close you could actually get to matching the settings of the suspension e.t.c.

You could try the SP1. It's no Scuderia, but its handling characteristics could provide something close and quite unique.

SP1 is also similar in that it was a bespoke one-off, though I think the P4/5 was based on an Enzo, so should be quicker?

EDIT - Perhaps I have the wrong car, I am thinking of a one-off Pininfarina made based on I think the Enzo, and the body shape of the old 330 P4...didn't realise it was a race car too though I might have the wrong car =)

EDIT AGAIN - That is the car I was thinking of, didn't know that dude ran it in Le Mans too, sweet! And jeez that's an awesome looking car.

P4/5 is an Enzo underneath (albeit with a few minor tweaks). I'd say buy an Enzo, add sports suspension and a small power upgrade (air filter, manifold etc) and you shouldn't be too far off. For the race version a tuned 430 Scuderia would do.
