Not really... lots of kids are into cars nowadays. We just had a 12 year old
ice a modifier competition that was being sponsored by Super Street...
I do read a
lot of old Car and Driver and Road and Track issues, nice sense of history, there... I read mostly newer C&D and R&T online, canadiandriver.com (more consumerist take, but some good stuff nonetheless), autoextremist.com, automobear.com (but it's pretty dry... mostly talk about design... they do have a
great sales chart), Top Gear, Evo (I collect the mag, it's an adult's mag for boy racers), two or three local mags, Sport Compact Car, but only for Kojima's writing on tuning, though they've been getting a bit better (but the mag is getting kinda thin for the price)... nissanperformancemag.com (for Mike Kojima's column)... oh... tons of stuff..
On a lark, I'll pick up a Hot Rod mag or two just to look at the old cars. Don't like reading it much... anyone who thinks a radial tire is evil must be at least
partially off their rocker.
I read Max Power every once in a while for laughs. You really don't know rice until you've read Max Power.
