I don't want to sound like a mod, but this is just a wish list at this point.

If you feel that a car company doesn't have enough cars, go make a thread for those cars OR vote for their existing threads.

For instance, if I thought Lancia was under appreciated (which it is) then I would go and make a thread for the 037, Beta, Fulvia, etc. or if those cars already have threads, I would just go and like them.

Posting all these cars in this thread doesn't get us anywhere. This thread should really be locked, because the only discussion that can be had is basically wish-list discussion.
You know, it's easy to just dismiss any comment on missed cars as a "wish list" but I'm not here to talk about cars that I want. If I did, I'd talk about my first car that I ever owned. Or some cars I loved driving in PGR (Callaway Sledgehammer). But a lot of people chiming in are bringing up makes or models that are not represented in GT6 even though they hold regional and cultural significances. A franchise that felt it should put in an 1886 Mercedes-Benz Daimler Motor Carriage because of it's historical significance can't find the man power to put companies that basically provided transportations for a country. Or companies that broke technical and speed records.

We are TRYING to move past personal significances, but if you want to just brush this under the rug, go ahead.

So what do you want people to do?

Say the cars that they feel should be in the game, but aren't?

Because that's a wishlist. And whether you like it or not, that's what this thread is. People posting about cars, and car companies that aren't in the game which they think should be in the game.

No, the difference is that a wish list is something you personally want. I personally don't care about most of the cars that I've listed, but there are distinct historical, market, cultural significances that these cars or makes have made that should warrant it in the game. GT is an "encyclopedia", and it missing these options is just perplexing.

There is a difference in between what SHOULD be there and what we want. GT lists would be the goofiest things if they consisted only of cars people wanted.

But once again, just ignore any merit of this discussion.

Let me give you an example using the features of GT.

I wish a livery editor was in GT.
I believe torque steer should exist in GT.

1 is something I want in GT.
1 is something GT SHOULD have granted it claims it's a simulation.

What SHOULD be in the game is purely subjective. You might think they Alfa is important, I might not. You might think that the first mustang doesn't need to be in the game, but I do.

Historical significance is subjective. This is all subjective, and therefore a wishlist. I'm sorry, but it honestly is.

History is NOT subjective. What is relevant to yourself is subjective. The Hindustan Ambassador is the best selling car in India. 4 million of them sold. The Ford F-Series trucks are the best selling vehicles in America for the past 28 years. YOU can argue that it isn't relevant, but the masses have determined that the F-Series IS IN FACT relevant.
