What car should I get?

That's what all new drivers say. Truth is, most new drivers are as dangerous in traffic as those 60-80+ old people.

How old are you and how long have you been driving? I've been driving for 10 years and I still have things I could improve on with my driving, and when I've been driving for 20 years I'll say the same thing.
 
I've been able to drive for 2 years now, but I only recently got a car.. For someone of my ge(20) and driving a BMW M3 Coupé '08 I have 0 points, never been pulled.. So I'm quite proud of that. :)

Honda Civic insurance and Integra insurance is higher than the fans at the Woodstock festival back in the 60's.
 
But for every new driver Insurance is obviously going to be high, so what's the need to worry? Enough cop rooms. :lol:

Be very careful if you do get a civic si (the one Im talking about is the em1) they will steal it. Infact, be careful with any Honda.... Its a good first car tho.

I saw one in blue, but sadly its got 100,000+ miles. I still have a whole school year though

Quadruple posting :lol: I don't do insurance... Just make sure after your first year you have nothing wrong with your license, I'm sure it will go down.

You cant kill a Honda.. I have one nearly 9 years old with 112,000+ miles on it and i like it 10x better than my parents two newer cars

Mine is a Pilot.. I run the living 🤬 out of it with all the driving I do to go to my internships and school and it keeps up with me.. I put 5500 miles on it just this last Summer alone (yup.. Changed the oil twice in one Summer.. Once in the beginning of June and then again at the end of August to prevent it from running up to the light during the school year.. It was within 500 miles of doing so) and it EASILY has a higher annual mileage with me than the two newer Hondas (2010 Accord and 2008 Odyssey) my parents drive.. And those cars ages combined still dont add up to the age of the Pilot. I dont have a set schedule, the car could one day be taking me to school then the very next day a several hundred mile road trip (as it was when i was seeing my ex.. 400 mile round trip). If you get the CRV, or any car, enjoy it.. Itll take you far.
 
Hopefully by next summer there will be some better cars. I wouldn't mind having a S2000. I've seen some going for about 10ish. Honda fan
 
Just did some searching and I found there's a auto auction house near me. Might go there when I get the money for a car

So? 100K is nothing. If it's looked after it'll go on forever.

I just bought my car, and it has 216K on it.

Can you not go and look at it, check the service history etc?

Like Duffers917K said, if it's looked after, it'll go on forever. And if it's been looked after, and you look after it, it should be fine.

Well I could, but I can't afford it anyways. I'm turning 16 in 4 days so yay for me. Not so good for those that can't drive as they will be followed by a very angry Chinese guy cursing them out
Ooh and one question, should I buy a car from craigslist or from Ebay? which do you think is better?
