I need help as to what car is the best choice for beating the Gran Turismo All Stars event in expert level. I looked through various forums already and people have been suggesting the Corvette ZR1 with full racing mods and the Mclaren F1 stealth car. I've tried both and they can't keep up. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Did you modify your stealth f1? Is this for a or b-spec? I believe the tire restrictions in a-spec is unlimited so with racing soft, it's more than doable.

This is in A-spec. I haven't tried the soft racing tires, just the medium ones. The problem that I'm finding with the stealth car is because it's so light, whenever it gets the slightest nudge from another car it completely spins out of control.

I used the Minolta for A-spec which you can get from the 'Like the Wind' event.

For B-spec, I used the X2010. Can't really go wrong there.

Give the tires a try and max the power. Are you using a controller? You could always just have the driving aids cranked up.

I ended up going back to that race with zr1 rm'd and tune, a little extra downforce/toe out. No issues

The trick is, dont get a nudge from the other cars!

I did this last night in the 787b stealth unmodified, the first time i'd driven the car. Max downforce, a little tuning for each circuit (Softer suspension and raised for the ring with toe in for stability etc)

Came first in every race. Spent 2/3 laps "pacing out" the lead car to see what kind of speed he was doing everywhere. After that i passed him, got myself a 1-2 second lead then put it into "bring it home mode"

The trick with these cars is to be very smooth and very sensitive inputs. Only go full throttle or full brakes in a straight line really.

P.s i apologise if i appear all "its really easy!" about this and the 787b is actualy insanely fast.

I used a JGTC Toyota Supra with a hgh rpm turbo kit and soft racing tyres, it wasn't easy and you have to adjust the settings for each race but it definately can be done with a car that has less power than the opposition.

I found doing some races individually first helped me, it showed me how fast the AI was and helped me understand what I needed to do to my car in order to get results and win the series. I got 4 golds and 1 silver, more than enough to win me the championship when I finally entered it.

Has anyone tried the Peugeot 908? I really want to buy this car anyway but I wana make sure I get the right Group C/LMP racer for this race considering the money I'll have to plop down for any of them.

I won it with McLaren F1 tuned up to 686 hp. I made his spec same as F1 LM spec in real life... Next time I won it with F1 GTR long tail easy ;)

People seem to be having a lot of success with non-LMP cars. I might actually try that first.

I won it with the Minolta. It takes dedication, and tons of concentration. I used this car for the "Dream Car" race at the end of extreme as well as "Like the wind". It was work horse for everything I enter it in.

this question have been asked 100000000 times, just w8, do like the wind and then nail it with the minolta.
Like the Wind can easly be done with the McLaren F1 stealth
