What car under Cr.100.000 for a fast lap on Monza?

Hey people,

For quite some time I have been reading threads on this forum, but something has been bugging me so I decided to become a member.

Me and some of my mates have a competition between us. The task is to buy and build a car and you are not allowed to spend more than Cr.100.000.
The winner is the one with the fastest lap on Monza.

I started with an Evo Lancer for 32.980 and 60.000 on tuning mods, and I reached aprox 1.55.000

A friend (whose car I don't know obviously) had lapped 1.52.000 and only spent 70.000.

What is the best car(with what mods) for this challenge?? I was thinking of a Lotus Elise for 30.000 and tune the hell out of it. I've got about a week left before the challenge ends...

Monza requires a car with good brakes/acceleration rather than cornering.

Hence the RM elise is out.

Buy something with the best power to weight ratio but with the highest HP. As you need the HP to cut through the air = higher top speed.

For 100,000 you could easily buy a ruf BTR, however you wont be able to get good tryes, so it'll drive like ice skate.

If I was doing this challege, get some american and cheap, sod the tryes and spend all your money on going faster.
 
Simple answer get a Corvette doesn't really matter which one as they are pretty quick to start with and within budget

Can you read?

He stated zzII not ZZ-S, there is a difference.

50k for a 400+bhp awd car.

Different car. The ZZ-S is an Elise-alike, whereas the ZZII is a Skyline engined turbo nutter.

I would echo the "get something cheap with a lot of power like a Corvette" comments
 
Another one for the ZZII, I found it didn't corner well at high speed so put on a spoiler for 3k and some racing tites at 36k and you've got a car that will beat most things.

The difficult part will be finding one in the used garage, or you could try trading someone one.

Yeah, there is not much downforce.. on the other hand you dont need that much on Monza. I did not try it but i bet it will do well.

No problem to win Super GT with the ZZ-II.
But of course you have to take the corners slower then a race car
 
Dodge Viper the last one used it to win the Gran Turismo trophey and unlocked the Bugatti Veyron as a result
 
i really liked lexus is 200 touring car it was in used car dealership for about 30-40k its game name is altezza touring car, handles like a dream really good on suzuka too,

oh I didnt read it had to be a new car tuned up

You didn't the OP very well did you?

Unless he is at Level 40 and there is a severely hail damaged X1 in the used dealership, it will blow is budget by about 19.9 million cr.
