What car will be your "baby" through this game

I used to love it in previous GT games when you could take a smaller, underpowered car and win against bigger machinery. I hope this is carried through to GT5 and I can take my own car, mk2 16v golf in oak green, and do the same.
 
Well there are cars I badly want, like that Gallardo Balboni and Zonda R, but they're already very highly tuned.

To me, "baby" means something that starts small and I "raise it" :) That's what I've always loved in GT games, and the best thing is when I just stumble on a car that I want to keep using and using. I like the idea of a TVR Griffith or an old Escort cosworth, but I dunno yet because I'll make friends with a car because of how it drives. Also depends how much I can tune.. .
 
I always find it impossible to stick to a few cars...the game is set up to make that pretty much impossible, with all the different requirements for events. Given half a chance though, I'd go with a VW Golf (my RL car) and an Aston Martin.

I for one am hoping for a 2cv would love if we had different types but i know this is asking a bit too much! in real life the racing is always very close. not that i think gt will be like this. I love my car and if there is at least 1 2cv on the game i will be over the moon. Now i just need a sanding function and im set.

Probably an R35 or Evo. I'm a sucker for those Japanese AWDs.

Edit: Actually, the 787B will be my true baby, but for everything else, the above should do.
 
Don't really know, if the race car i like will be in GT5 or not. Maybe next week i will find out, then i will post it.
 
I can´t let my fingers off from the F40 in SCC... That car is so amazing and so great to drive! Havent drive the F40 in GT5P so much but I think that one would be one of my favourites...

1996 Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo; in green if possible. I've loved it since day one of Gran Turismo 1. I'll never forget those split-screen thrillers around Clubman Stage Route 5!

However, it has been a good decade since then and time is moving on... I need a new car.

Pretty sure that one will be in GT5 it also was in GT4 and as I said earlier all GT4 cars are coming over with updated graphics! (I do believe!) I have one in GT4 actually and love it.:)
 
If they include a '94 or '97 Sentra B13 or B14 then those, otherwise the STi when it was still sexy. Not hatchback.
 
No kei-cars? I'd expect far more than just my Cap.

Don't you just wish the HSV W427 had made it into "Pontiac" form... Maybe G8 GXP-R...

Hard to say what my "baby" will be since I don't know how the game will work. Will it have upgrade parts as past GTs or simply a points system as GT5P... But for sure I'll be using the Mark IV Supra whenever possible.
 
I don't have time to write a nearly 200 car list.. :D but, MFT's lineup covers most of it.
