I actually took the Mini VGT for my first race. Great car.

But yeah the track! My god does it bring back memories.. Good ones and bad ones.
Best memory I have was driving there with my dad in GT3. Worst memory I have was driving there with my sisters boyfriend right after my dad died.. I remember it so clearly. First race was a Polo vs Golf, both red. I was so sad I couldn't focus correctly. I still beat him though we saved the replays, wish I could look back at them
I wish my dad could've been here today, drive here with me again. The Mid-Field king.

Me and my girlfriend actually baked a cake today, to celebrate the return of Mid-Field, and also because it's under a month left until my dad has been dead for 11 years. Time goes by so quickly..

Like I said on twitter: I took my Ferrari 430 Scuderia (full race tuned - set for acceleration) around Midfield .. 40 laps!
Fastest lap was 1:04.563 but yeah ..

@SuzukaStar Great minds think alike, it seems! I also picked the '96 Corvette Grand Sport for my first time back at Midfield. I'm reasonably certain that I've bought this car in every GT going back to the original game, so it seemed an appropriate choice to welcome back an old friend.

RIDOX Replica Camaro SS GT3

I drove my Diablo GTR replica as the 1st car at Midfield on SS tire, then RUF CTR replica on CM tire, then Nissan GTR Nismo replica on CS tire.
The next session I got the Diablo GTR on racing hard tire, did 1:09s on 1st lap , while the Yellowbird, at 469PS/1200+kg + 37/63 distribution/CM easily got into 1:27s on 1st lap. Tried some rain and water on track with the Yellowbird, awesome experience.

The Nissan GTR Nismo replica ( corrections on weight + distribution, LSD and suspension ) managed 1:18s easily. The GTR Nismo was built to replicate 3 real life lap record ( Laguna Seca, Nurb GP/F and Big Willow ) with close to real life driving pace.

Spent about an hour without knowing, just drive and enjoy the nostalgia

I sent my Honda HSV around there in my 'base setup' form which I used for Suzuka in the championship which I am in currently. I set a 1:05 in it and I only had to brake for about four of the corners, whilst the others were either flat or nearly flat. Beautiful.
