What car would you buy, IF it was available where you live?

The Toyota FJ cruiser is a car I really like, but not sure how well the styling would go down over here. Then we have the Honda Ridgeline, which I think is a really cool looking pickup, and would be strong competition for the Nissan Navara and Mitsubishi L200. Another is the Opel GT, which despite being sold as an Opel, Pontiac, Saturn and a even a Daewoo, was never brought here as a Vauxhall apart from as the 2003 VX Lightning concept.

And a couple of other things: I think the Acura range could compete with Lexus sales in Britain with a proper marketing campaign (which I believe has been the source of Infiniti's downfall here); and Fiat should stop selling the Lancia Delta and Ypsilon as Chryslers in Britain. Lancia may have a bit of a dodgy reputation here, but it's not like Chrysler have been a front runner either...

I've always actually liked that car, but it needs the sound of a drink-a-gallon-idle V8.

I'm pretty sure they sold that Celica in the US.
I'm pretty sure that you're wrong on this one. I've checked a few times and yeah; the ST205 Toyota Celica GT-Four never made it to the US. We got the ST165 & 185 GT-Fours, but that was it.

Buy a front clip and hope for the best then. :D
 I rather not try that and get the real thing.

There's a similar looking Celica around here.
It's probably a Celica GT, they normally look similar to the GT-Four, but it's still not the same car.

Huh you don't have them in europe? They are in the US oddly enough.

O_O They have those here?! But I never saw one! Adding that to my list of cars to keep an eye out on.

I'd be torn between these two:

The thing's a born drifter and I LOVE that triangle brake light on the spoiler XD

In my view this is one of, if not the prettiest car ever made. I don't even care if the short wheelbase would kill me, I'd be okay going out in an italian fireball of glory in one of these ;D

Maybe you're tone-deaf to anything that isn't a V8 ;)
I mean, yeah it sounds good, but I guess I'm so used to the V8 sound that it just doesn't fit. But it's really gotten to be that way with anything.

A cheap but clever car is the philosophy Volkswagen should have abided by when giving North America the new, cheaper Jetta and Passat, but instead we got cars that were a bit of a step down from their predecessors. The Up is cheap but cheerful, and I'd certainly take it over a Smart Fortwo or a Scion iQ.

Caterham. Supposedly theyre coming to the U.S. soon though.
Caterhams are already available in the US. They have to be registered as kit cars, though as either a "Built It Yourself" or "Rolling Chassis" that just needs the engine installed.
