Come on. You know you want it. All that old school Nissan goodness. Now made 100% better with the inclusion of that crappy toothy grille and an MP3 compatible stereo.

Wait, does it have to be something modern? Okay, then.

That counts, doesn't it? 660cc of Suzuki goodness powering an erector set on wheels.

Hmm. This is actually a tricky one. The UK has no laws that would prevent you from bringing a car into the country from anywhere else - there's plenty not sold officially, but if you have the cash, you can pretty much get it. Mustang? No problem. Japanese import? Sure, why not.

If I'm to exclude that option though and just suggest something that should be sold in the UK brand new, then it's this:

The Honda N-One. A kei-car that'd make a great sub-Jazz(/Fit) entry-level model for Honda to compete with the Volkswagen Up and all those kind of cars.

I'd say something like one of the American muscle cars but realistically it'd be way too expensive to run with our gas prices. The N-One is suitably unique but makes a lot more sense here. There are dozens of other kei-cars old and new I'd have too.

Carrera GT
Audi A1 Quattro
Toyota iQ
Abarth Punto

But most of all...

All the Alpinas.

In my country, a car you can have is only a matter of money. If a car is not sold in Russia officially, you can have a "gray import" if you can afford the tax. It depends on the engine displacement, so bringing an American muscle is veeeeery expensive. But I don't know about electric cars - there's at least one Tesla Model S, in Altai Krai.

So, if the question was "...if it was officially available, not from gray dealers", my answer would be:
Shelby GT500 Super Snake.

There are quite many gray-import Mustangs in my area, but this one would be unique.

My buddy was present for a dyno (Mustang portable) testing of the GT500 (newest generation) and it was putting out over 600 to the wheels! He said that by the time they were done testing it was blowing insulation out of the muffler. :scared:

If I had the funds and these cars were available stateside, this is what I'd buy...

2011 Holden VE II Ute SSV

2008 Audi RS6 Avant

True, but they are virtually non-existent here, and I think it'd be easier to import one than to try and locate one sold here.

@Slashfan Well yeah, less then 20 were made after all. :p But taking out the engine? That ruins the car.
I'd probably leave it if it was that rare. I figured the production numbers were closer to 1,000 or so. The only thing that worries me is if they require me to install those stupid bumpers on the front and back for safety reasons. I wish there was a workaround. Emissions I'm good to go but safety still stands.

XS
The Vector is owned by Jeff's Imports of Canton Ohio. He also had two M12s, drove by that car everyday in the showroom window on the way to work.

I get by this place frequently, he does have some wild stuff. And his prices reflect it too ...

Vector ain't your average super car company. Shame they don't produce that many cars.

I don't believe that's really necessary. Haven't seen one with such bumper extensions. Since it's U.S. based it probably already has something going on. Then again considering it's a very limited production car it might be exempt through certain conditions. I'm not too knowing of that sort of thing, but it's a possibility.

The Countach however wouldn't be hard to find at all if you've got money in your pocket. It isn't super rare.

Probably not, but I don't have that kind of money laying around either.

Really?

Leave the Lada 2107 alone, it doesn't deserve your attention. :D
As for the UAZ, I heard there are some in the US, but they have their gas tanks moved to the rear, because side-mounted fuel tanks are against the safety regulations.
This one is Withlacoochee State Forest, Citrus Tract, Florida.

And the Volga is sweet. If you get a black one and swap the engine for a 5+ litre V8, you can make a replica of a KGB interceptor.

SVX
AFAIK, you can just pull the fuse (at least on the R32) to bypass the electronic diff (or something) and make it RWD.
True, but I'd rather have something lighter with less stuff that can break.

HSV W427 for me. Have loved this car since it was released, but a shame it would be near impossible & incredibly expensive to get over here.

The NSX-R & M3 CSL are honorable mentions, but the majority of their model base is available here and could be replicated.
