Boy name: Maverick (killing 2 birds with 1 stone there... Ford and Top Gun!)

Although, when I stop and think about it, Miles McHenry sounds awkward.
 
I remember once, watching the afternoon Nickelodeon gameshow (Slime Time Live or something), a caller named Mercedes played against a caller named Porsche. Mercedes won. I laughed. I believe I taped it somewhere, too.
Poor children.
 
More after a race car driver then after a car (one of Buggatis more recent concepts had the name) Chiron, I believe it is pronounced shirone but you could probably also get away with pronouncing it kyrun

I have thought about this before this thread was even created. And i have to agree that Silvia is a very nice girl name. Names such as porsche or carrera is too slutty :yuck: Shelby is pretty nice too because even Carol Shelby himself admits he has a girl's first and last name :)

As for a boy, i dont think i will name him after a car. The only decent male car names i can think of is like Enzo, and im not personally italian so i dont think i will use that
 
Male: Esprit (met someone in real life with that name), Aston, Austin

Female: Elise, but just plain Lotus works well too, Shelby, Lizzy (:sly: :lol: )

Female Stripper: Exige, of course. :sly:


Porsche, Lexus and Mercedes sound too yuppie-ish to me, although Mercedes was originally a girl's name.

Well that song is where I first heard Porsche as a girl's name.
 
Every Porsche I've ever met (all 3 of them) have been black girls, so that's what I think of when I hear that.
