I've only managed to gold the Fiat challenge...so far, i got a worthless NASCAR :grumpy:🤬:grumpy:
 
I have only done the fiat challenge.
I got the ford V8 supercar!!!(already had it)
 
I got the 787b from the Scooby challenge happy about that! But I got a NASCAR from the fiat challenge which was a bit annoying. Got a skyline LM thing from the Elise challenge. Worth it for the Mazda!

I have the Gulf GT40 but not the really expensive longtail one in the New Car Dealership. I've never traded before and wouldn't know the first thing about it (read some dodgy stories on here about trades gone wrong). VERY kind offer. 👍

I'm actually saving up for the other F1 car at the moment so there's nothing I really want. Add my PSN and I'll see if I can just give you the car. It does nothing sitting in my garage and it won't be missed. I'm sure you'd get more use out of it then me.

For clarification it's the same as the 10mill GT40 currently in the online dealership.

How can you possibly give a car that costs more than 980,000 credits? I have a Toyota GT-One and a Bentley Speed that I'd like to trade for something I don't have and I keep getting raped with the car coupons.

I have to say it is kind of painful watching you and others torture yourselves this way. Everyone should have a USB stick by now (your PS3 dies and you have no backup - that's the definition of being gutted). Why not reload your save until you get the car you want?

If you prefer not to keep a copy on another account, that's fine, but at least get the car you want from your one ticket. I put too much time into getting the level 23 to be frustrated getting a car I already have.

Unless PD has gone over the edge and is committed to giving away mega prizes from now on, I think the level 23 ticket is the best prize we will ever see. Get what you deserve from it.

STI = Toyota 7 race car. My third one 👎

Going to do the races in my other profile and gift tickets over see what I get.
All in all though a tough but fun series. Actually making decent credits and prizes keeps it interesting for me.

G'day Rums,

I think then that this is the car I already have - the Gulf GT40. You should give it a race, it sounds fantastic! I think there are issues gifting/trading cars worth more than $1 million.

Unlike others I only have one account set up on PSN so I guess I'll be doing the painful thing of continuing to grind until I get in a position to purchase the cars I'm after (yes, Jag, Ferrari and Ford at a cool $20 million each).

However I hope PD continue to offer these more difficult seasonal events. It's the first time I've been pushed enough to really have to search for a car set up to win as well as drive every lap like a qualifier. And the increased credits and PP make it worthwhile.

Agree. I received 3 cars (post#77) that I either already had or didn't want, and it is frustrating after putting a lot of effort into these events. Don't get me wrong, it was fun and rewarding to beat the events, but it would be nice to get a car that you want.

Instead of having people reload multiple times to get the car they want, it would be awesome if PD would present you with something similar to the OCD (with only cars in that ticket level) when you redeem your ticket, and allow you to select the car you want. For those that like the random nature of the tickets, they could have a selection that would generate a random car as well.
 
L21: Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo (Lime Green Metallic)
L22: Dodge Viper Team Oreca #91 (why not the #51 at least! ARRH)
L23: Pescarolo C60 Hybride - phew, it was the one with #6 and I had #7 already, lucky me, not getting a "real" duplicate here :) Have all Le Mans cars already, so I got what I could have hoped for.

I don't mind getting tickets and could never be bothered to reload a save multiple times. But a bigger cash reward and no ticket would work much better than the car-level-system. Why a chance to get either a McLaren F1, Amuse S2000 or a Jaguar XJ220 LM race car - in the same ticket? 250,000, 1,000,000 and 2,000,000 credits of worth with equal chance.. that's just PD.

Ok, I don't think I could've asked for more from my tickets. I was prepared to do the reload thing only if it gave me something that I already had, but it didn't.

Lvl 21 - Toyota 2010 Brian Vickers #83 Red Bull TOYOTA CAMRY Fine by me, cause this is the next NASCAR I was gonna try to get. 👍
Lvl 22 - Pagani Zonda LM Race Car :D Exact car that I was hoping for!
Lvl 23 - BMW McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97 :drool: I was hoping for this or the Mercedes-Benz Sauber Mercedes C9 Race Car '89, since neither of those were in the OCD.

Very happy with these and I didn't have to reload.

Sorry to all the people that got duplicates.

I backed up my save, used a lv 23 coupon (only 3 left now!) and got another repeat crappy car (Citroën G12 or whatever), so I quit, load the save from my USB and... my lv 23 coupon is gone! :'(.

I am just not supposed to get what I want with this game, gosh that is extremely frustrating! I also beat the Vettel challenge but any feeling of accomplishment was taken away by this.
 
Fiat - Ferrari P330 Race car. Very happy with this!

Lotus - Ford GT Test car. What i said sounded something like "duck"

Subaru - Mazda Furai. Didn't have this, and it looks nice. Happy enough.
 
I only used the Lvl 23 and got a Toyota7 race car, that is a prize car as we all know and already had so the next 2 will be with reload if needed, because I want to try to get something that I don't own already.
 
Well , I finally did the 500. What did I get? Ford Falcon. Which I already had....Oh well, got to try harder on the other two (and find the time!).

Some nice prizes being awarded for sure though. Always hope!

I get what you're saying but to me, I like it better that way. I don't think the tickets would be as exciting if every car that you can get from it was worth the same amount of money.

It's nice to have variety with the Ticket prizes because when you do get a real nice or expensive car, it makes it that much more exciting and worth it. 👍

Of course there's a downside to it, but doesn't everything have one? You just gotta pray to the car gods that they'll take care of you. :dopey:
 
Fiat - NASCAR (dont know which one)

Lotus - Pagani Zonda LM (Pretty sweet car, be curious to run some time trials back to back against the Zonda R)

Subaru - Nissan R92CP (Only learnt about the save game trick then and took about 10 reloads to get it. Been chasing this car for ages!)
 
I got the Ford GT LM spec II test car from my 22 ticket. Perfect since i did not own it, it cost 3.6 mill, and i needed it for "Night Rider" :)
 
i FINALLY won the fiat event. Just when i was about to chalk this up to a big conspiracy against me i used the tun you used and got it. I was pumped and celebrated my smashing that audi into the rock wall at the end. I wish it was like gran theft auto so i couldve taken him out and beat the crap out of him.....anyways...got a GT by Citroen road...again...on to the next one!

I won the Nissan Fairlady Z LM Race car on the Level 22 ticket (the Lotus Elise 111R event)-a prize car already! :grumpy:
That's the 2nd time this has happened. The first time was when I got a Mercury Cougar from a 1967 ticket!! :grumpy::grumpy:
